Obstetrician gynecology, a specialist who operates surgeries and medical care on women mostly in the reproductive system, is what I desired since childhood.(Danforth 2008) Though I saw it as my future career, I ended up studying International business as a financial analyst. Our neighbor was a gynecologist whose life I admired as he seemed to live a good and satisfying life. He would always encourage us to work hard in school so that we would be like him, but, later on, I changed my ambition.
The reason why I chose to pursue a career on international business is the learning, adventurers and negotiation nature of the career. As a financial analyst, I will be able to interact with different people in the corporate world in offering consultancy services and provide analysis on gathered information.(Clement & Tse2005).I love challenges and learning new things each day. This career will provide a good ground of analysis, and I will be able to run my own business without big challenges.
From my lessons I have enjoyed practical classes where we go to the field and obtain data then finally analyze it. Through going to business premises, I have interacted with different people and learned how they manage to cope up with challenges. Also, engaging people in my class and holding discussions have contributed to the expansion of my intellectual capability. Through interactions, I like getting other peoples’ ideas and every time learning new things from people.

I am capable of solving challenges in situations where people do not know which way is the best. I give viable solutions by analyzing both the positive and negative effects of a decision. Severally, I have managed to give good solutions to my family members and friends whenever a difficult situation faces them. This is holding a negotiation and arriving at a common agreement. Also, my adventurers’ character has made me travel different and weird places.
As a young person, I have a goal of owning a research and consultancy firm that will be among the leading research and consultancy firms worldwide. It would involve a business oriented firm where starters and established business owners, as well as students, will have an opportunity to consult on any business questions and training.
My degree as a financial analyst will help me gain analytical and interactive skills that will be useful in my future company. Interactive skills help on how to deal with clients and analytical on analyzing the performance of the business with those of other competitors. Though the degree is of much help to me, there are no willing experienced tutors who can mentor students in this field. It also takes a long time to study the course which can be cut off to fewer years. (Bricker& Young 1995)
To me, both creativity and security are important in my career. Creativity is important since the world is competitive and requires uniqueness in both productions of goods and provision of services to outdo other competitors(Brown&Schwager 1987)More to that security is more crucial as one tends to look for a more secure job that will be certain and convenient in time and income.
In conclusion, this research has helped me know more about my career. The career involves dealing with finance analysis that is very crucial to any business. Despite that, it is well rewarding when it is done passionately by a fully skill equipped person. I would pursue to fulfill my future goal and be able to sustain my life and family.
