Food and its true importance

Food has a very important role in humans since we obtain the necessary resources for our daily physical activities, and if we did not simply die we would die. On the other hand, food is indispensable for the child population since it contributes to the normal growth and good development of infants, so it is vitally important to offer children a varied and balanced diet that contains all nutrients for the proper functioning of theirorganism, since at this stage it is more vulnerable to having an incorrect diet since it does not depend completely on them but feed through what their parents or guardians give them.

Unfortunately in Mexico there is a lot.

Goal

The objective of this work is to raise awareness mainly in parents who are the main ones in charge of feeding children on how a bad diet can cause various diseases; It is important that they take into account that childhood is a stage determined in children because they would develop their first habits and it would be greathealth throughout his life.

Research

In Mexico there are many problems derived from poor nutrition that affect children, in our country there are two main negative effects. One of them is malnutrition that is originated by a loss of reserves or nutrients that weakens the organism of children due to apoor diet, in Mexico one in eight children have a low size for their age, this malnutrition can cause growth delays throughout their lives.

Wait! Food And Its True Importance paper is just an example!

The most prone states to have a malnourished child population are those of the South because these present twice the chances of being in a state of malnutrition compared to the northern states. Rural populations are also prone to have a child population with high malnutrition indices regardless of whether it is in the north or south due to the lack of food diversity.

Child Obesity and Overweight

On the other side of the currency, the child population in Mexico is more prone or having obesity and overweight, these diseases are more common in northern states and urban communities quite the opposite of malnutrition. Bad eating habits, junk food as the basis of the daily diet and the entry of Fast Food (fast food) have caused Mexico to be placed among the first countries with the most Obesa children.

According to FAO, 73% of the adult population in Mexico suffer from obesity, but statistics in adolescents and children are even more alarming because we are the country with more obese children in the world because between 10 children three or four suffer from this disease according toThe Ensenut data. Mexico began to worry after the National Institute of Public Health revealed that the diet of children and young people is based on sugars and fats.

These statistics leave Mexico very badly because it places us as the country with more obese children and the second with more obesity in adults, the UNICEF calculation that more than four million infants distributed throughout the Mexican Republic have obesity and consequently have todeal with some diseases that entail obesity such as diabetes, high cholesterol levels even infarctions that for the young age of infants something very worrying.

The main factor of this is obviously poor diet, in great noon to food called scrap metal, which are all those foods with a large amount of cholesterol such as hamburgers, pizza the fried chicken and some drinks mainly the soda;that all these types of food have been adopted as a fundamental part of Mexican families diets. Many of the time obesity is not well detected by the families of the affected children because only 15% of the total affected families can recognize that their child has

Obesity problems, this misinformation is the main cause of so many health problems related to food in children because not everyone knows how to detect obesity and here in the country there is still the wrong idea that the child "chubby" is a good goodnourished and strong.

Another cause is the ease with which these products are obtained and the cheap that are literally in Mexico is cheaper, fast and easy to eat scrap than to eat healthy, unfortunately the healthy things are somewhat expensive and therefore people do when makingpractices their meals do not want to battle by preparing something from their homes in advance.

Throughout the Mexican Republic, 23 people die every hour due to diseases caused by obesity only in 2017 200,000 people died according to FAO. The problem with sugary drinks and junk food is the labeling since not all are secret and this causes consumers not to have a clear idea of what they are consuming.

Breastfeeding

It is important to mention breast milk here because it is the food par excellence of babies and in Mexico only 3 out of 10 babies are fed correctly, this is counterproductive because breast milk provides necessary nutrients as well as everything necessary to avoid diseases throughoutYour development and this obvious includes in the health of infants.

Then I will present the 5 laws of food you are can be applied from children and adults and will help you have a good diet and thus avoid these diseases are are:

  • Varied
  • Innocuous
  • Balanced
  • Complete
  • Enough

conclusion

In Mexico, unfortunately there is great misinformation in all aspects about nutrition, but in childhood it is vital to be informed since children are not responsible for these diseases, since eating habits are applied and inherited from their parents;Having a good diet in childhood will help excellent growth and avoid future diseases in that person. Mexico is a country with a lot of food diversity and it would be good that we became aware that if we use those foods intelligently our children will grow healthIn the children of Mexico.

Finally I would like to mention that children are the future and we should become aware of what a world with a total obese and malnourished population would be totally a chaos.
