Historical events and how it influences the present and the future life

Historical events such as where we grew up, the level of education and past experiences define future and who we will be. This paper discusses is about historical events and environment and how it affects our future. The main focus is on Rosa Lee life and how she led her life. It focuses on how her life decision made her become a mother at the age 13 and an addict who would later take her to jail. Rosa Lee miscellaneous life would make her get five children and infect some of her children with the deadly HIV virus. This paper also reveals how the environment that one grows in impacts on the life of an individual. Rosa Lee dropping out of school made her virtually illiterate and unable to support herself. The importance of education is revealed and how education has helped mold various skills such as writing skills. Our history will be largely used in defining our future that we will be and of what character. Finally, we should lead a good life so as have a brighter and better future.

History greatly influences our future. Your history acts as a pillar or foundation for your future. Historical events and culture greatly influence how a child mind grows. The society is actively involved in solidifying the future of that child. For Rosa Lee born in late 1930 had a very trying moment in her life especially as a black woman. As such, this paper will focus on Rosa Lee life and how it influenced her future about my life and how it has influenced me to be a writer.

Rosa Lee was born in 1937. She had her first born child at the age of 13 which forced her to drop out of school even without fully learning how to read and write. She went on to marry at the age of 16 so as she could move away from her parents and into her husband’s home. During the period, she moved out and got five more pregnancies which made her incapable of supporting herself and her children. This forced her to start using drugs due to life frustration and start been a prostitute so as to be able to support her children with at least something to eat. Rosa Lee would later become enslave to the hard drugs called cocaine and heroin. She would later go to prison leaving her children with no one to take care of them.
Historical culture acted as a great influence in Rosaline as she led a very unsafe life which was off drugs and prostitution. In the process, she acquired HIV virus which weakened her body and made her a slave to the needle and infecting her children in the process as they would at times share it. The environment where she grew up and raised her children was Washington DC. Washington was very hostile to the black woman, especially in the early 1930s. It was a city which had very few jobs for the blacks and the jobs available were hard jobs such as working in hard places like in the cement industry. Rosa Lee grew up in a very testing time where life made her become the woman that she is. Life frustration made her drug addict and a mother by the age of 13. Her life turned for the worst as she started the life of crime with her 10-year-old grandson.
Rosa Lee life was greatly influenced by the environment that she grew in .Her children were also affected. This case is similar to me as a writer as my past greatly affects my future. The reason for the good writing skills can be attributed to the education learned since childhood to university level. This has helped me change my thinking and reasoning capacity as a person and individual. Education has also helped open my mind to the various opportunities. Rosa lee who dropped out of school at the age of 13 made her virtually illiterate and unable to support her thus depending on prostitution to make a living and using drugs as a means of trying to forget her problems.
In summary, the environment and past experiences greatly influence one’s future. As seen in Rosa Lee life changed after she got pregnant and decided to drop out of school. This entirely changed her life course. Historical factors have greatly impacted my writing life in a positive way since I was able to acquire the necessary knowledge needed to do writing. The experienced in writing was not very shaming since writing was an art to me and took every day as a learning day. Thus the paper will advocate that people lead a good life to avoid spoiling their future.
