History of the computer since the beginning of the 19th century

Throughout history, I am looking for the fastest way to find calculations more easily, several years ago, many countries were able to execute simple operations. Thus, the history of the electronic brain or rather the computer causes at the beginning of the nineteenth century with the creation of the first digital appears. Next, in the following paragraphs the background of the computer, generations and the classification for its capacity will be detailed.

We will begin with the history of computer science, where it goes back to the time of the appearance of man on earth, caused by the need to solve much faster problems. Regarding the first, the mechanical calculation devices is the first mechanical instrument to calculate the 4 basic operations, it was invented by the scientist Wilhelm Schickard in the years (1592-1635), based on some ofed wheels. Unfortunately this first tool was ruined in a fire of which was unusable. With the passing of time, various mathematicians tried to improve or build various devices to calculate all of them without success. Regarding the second, the electromagnetic calculation device by the years 1886, the DR. Herman Hollerith, worker at the US Census Office. UU, implemented a system established by perforated cards, with the purpose of encoding the population data and thus deliver the results in the short term. That census machine is already electric and encompasses electromagnetic elements.

Wait! History Of The Computer Since The Beginning Of The 19th Century paper is just an example!

Regarding the third, the first computers at the beginning of the 20th century, a large sum of machines, creation of programs and technologies, where the DR were continually manufactured, where the DR. Vannevar Bush did a deep investigation to the first analog computer. On the other hand, contemporary research by an entity (EDSAC) of DR. John von Neumann, is about the storage of programs in computer memory. In 1951 the UNIVAC was founded, beginning that technology progressed rapidly until today reaching perfection and thus be accessible to all users.

With the passing of the years, the discovery of new electronic devices, have highlighted dates that leave computers according to their processing capacity, grouping them for generations. To begin with, the first generation is characterized by having electromagnetic relays (Mark), or vacuum tubes such as ENIAC, with reduced memory storage and data entry was through pierced cards, with a binary language and the cost forto build was excessive. Then, the second generation its main characteristic of the equipment (hardware), was the inclusion of transistors and the (software), continued with the card systems or perforated tape. What also highlights in this generation is the development of the first high -level language (Fortran) appropriate for scientific, mathematical and engineering works. Finally, the third generation is where they incorporated microcircuit transistors known as monolithic integrated processors or integrated circuits, high -level language integration and programs to enable control and dialogue between the user and the computer.

This classification of computers is based on their size, computing power, memory and storage retention capacity. Therefore, macrocomputer are recognized as (mainframes) related by their large size, as was also very low speed. Assigned to universities and companies that required a great computing capacity and operating systems. Likewise, minicomputers medium and girl companies were in need of automating the duties and calculations imposed by their own growth, this as the discovery of transistors motivated to create smaller computers. To do this, personal computers were created since its launch in 1977 are well known and acquired by a large majorlarge number of megabytes to store programs.

In conclusion, the history of computing is based on the computational context, which are mechanical, electromagnetic calculation devices and on the first computers. In addition, over time the most important computer generations are 1.ª, 2nd and 3.ª Generation. In relation, the classification of computers are macrocomputers, minicomputers and personnel that allow the user to facilitate the transport of that device. For this reason, the impact of technology on society has led a great ease to solve common problems of the human, before this I affirm that not all the research of science is bad, but attracts new traditions, thanks.
