Product differentiation in functionality and design is Apple’s strategy for production. Other companies that use the same approach include; Samsung, Blackberry, Sony, HTC, Nokia and Google.
The rationale for product differentiation is for products from different competing companies to look different from Apples to look attractive to targeted consumers.
