Hurricane Destruction
Hurricanes are storms with very high-velocity winds originating from water bodies like oceans that cause a lot of destruction in coastal areas once they occur (Pielke & Rodger, 6). The recent hurricane that hit our locality destroyed a lot of property including the apartment where I usually stay. The storm destroyed everything in my apartment leaving me empty-handed. The following is a vivid description of the apartment contents that got damaged.
The hurricane destroyed all the electronics in my buildings. It consisted of a 26 inch Samsung flat screen television worth approximately two thousand dollars, a state of the art Sony home theatre system worth five thousand dollars, I phone x apple smartphone worth a thousand dollars and a MacBook pro apple laptop worth one thousand seven hundred dollars was also destroyed.
Apart from electronics, all my apartment furniture were destroyed. The furniture included an adjustable airbed worth two thousand dollars, five wing chairs worth a thousand dollars and a mahogany table worth two hundred dollars (Pielke & Rodger, 6). The estimated cost of all the beddings, curtains, clothes and shoes destroyed by the hurricane is five thousand dollars.
The home appliances destroyed by the hurricane consisted of a Samsung refrigerator worth five hundred dollars, a gas fireplace worth three thousand dollars. Other home appliances destroyed included a microwave oven, a vacuum cleaner, a washing machine and a dryer of clothes (Pielke & Rodger, 6).

Wait! Hurricane Destruction paper is just an example!

All these appliances have an estimated cost of six thousand dollars. In conclusion, I hope that the insurance adjuster will be able to inspect the damaged property and do a proper assessment that will enable the insurance company to compensate me because nothing has been overstated.
