Such policies are put in place to eliminate or allow immigration processes. They are known to affect different aspects of life and society as they can become helpful or disastrous to both the immigrant and the nation in question. It is vital to note that immigrants form and play central roles to the nations they end up working and staying as refugees or asylum seekers. Regardless of their status, most of the immigrants have increased the levels of economic growth of most nations. Unfortunately, issues relating to terrorism and other vices have made most nations to impose different polices that safeguard their overall wellbeing. There are millions of undocumented immigrants who live in various nations. Most immigrants leave there native homes for a better life. Such movements have necessitated many nations to provide stringent rules inform of policies to control the influx of people into their territories. Through immigration reforms, nations have made their policies to either be restrictive or open to immigrants. Australia and Albania are nations that have imposed different immigrant policies to safeguard the movement of people across their borders.

Introduction
Australia and Albania are nations that have had to deal with immigration issues in different ways. In Australia for example, there have been more asylum seekers into the country since 2010, and this has necessitated strict immigrant policies to curb the increasing influx of such immigrants.

On the contrary, there have been more asylum seekers from Albania to other nations due to the poor economic conditions prevailing in the region, hence few and less stringent immigrant policies.

The current immigration policy in Australia is seen as one of the harshest around the globe. The nation has endeavored to turn back all asylum seekers and their boats because of the current high influx of asylum seekers from war-torn regions in the world.
Advantages and Disadvantages of the policies in Australia
Refugees and asylum seekers can be used by the Australian government to provide different services at lower costs (Walsh 784). Such increased labor force often increase a nation’s GDP because of the minimal amounts of money spent on workers pay. Allowing immigrants to the nation will also increase the intermixing of different cultures that are often rich in increasing tourists’ presence. The policies are a disadvantage to the refugees as they limit their period of stay while other are locked in detention centers for longer periods.
Recommendations
Australia should be lenient to the asylum seekers and allow them to settle in the region while making different plans with the EU on how to deal with them. Such people can be used by the nation to provide cheap labor that might increase the region’s GDP level shortly. However, all the asylum seekers should be traced back to their original countries to ascertain their originality to avoid instances of terrorism and other forms of crime. Albania on the other hand should work towards increasing the development levels in the nation to have an increased numbers of immigrants as opposed to emigrants. Conclusion

The policies should always be linked to other national policies that are set for development purposes. Albania should make amendments to their policies because their current policies are old. Australia should also make amendments that will be beneficial to both the refugees and the nation at large.
