Importance of mathematics in the development of thought

The different research in psychology and neuroscience are related to education since it allows you to deepen the main factors and processes that are generated in the brain for the learning of mathematics and how it influences the development of thought.

The development of thought according to Piaget is the result of the learning process that a child acquires progressively.

Therefore, different strategies should be applied that facilitates the learning of mathematics in such a way that they can exercise the different brain areas in a way that allows to store numerical information and the verbal and numerical association can be carried out.

Taking into account the contributions of neuroscience and cognitive psychology., He affirms that education should seek different tactics that children can understand and in this way they can have a better knowledge of mathematics.

The theory of psychological development indicated by Vygosky mentions brain processes as the result of an interaction of the individual with his environment since each individual is a biopsychosocial entity. This means that the learning of mathematics in children is due to an interaction between language development and pedagogical management.

Logical reasoning is related to the transformation and intellectual change of the human being since as part of science it can be seen that man since it is born uses logic to face the different obstacles that arise.

Wait! Importance Of Mathematics In The Development Of Thought paper is just an example!

Mathematical logic is not just a visual learning system, it is a series of reasoning rules and techniques that consists in performing different operations such as: classifying, seriar, correspondence, etc.

Cognitive processes are necessary to carry out numerical processes that are linked to mathematics, so the development of reasoning exercises enhances the cognitive functions expressed in the development of school learning, teachers must develop appropriate psychopedagogical strategies to increase cognitive skills.

The development of the human brain is complex, since the creation, structure and function will begin from the gestation period, through a cell process called “neurogenesis” (creation of neurons) and each neuron will have millions of connections and will be responsible for sendingand receive information through a synaptic process, the transmission of such information is increased or decreased according to the amount of myelin possessed by neuronal axons since the myelinization process intervenes in the speed of transmission of neuron to neuron. The creation of new neuronal connections is carried out when there is greater stimulation, leading to an increase in the cognitive capacity of each individual.

When an atrophy or damage is presented at the neuronal level, they do not regenerate, however they modify their connections so that brain functioning is not compromised.

conclusion

In the human brain there is a functional laterality of the left hemisphere (HI) and right hemisphere (HD), various studies have shown that the HI is the dominant in most human beings, it has been called as logical-analithicof more complex functions such as: verbal language, manual dominance, sequential and relational memory, understanding, reasoning, logistic and mathematical calculations; In contrast, HD has been called as a synthesizer-creative, since it is responsible for functions such as: space skills, facial recognition, understanding of images, intuition, emotional behavior, nonverbal expression, memory of faces, voices and melodies.

The transfer of information between neuron to neuron allows to create millions of neuronal interconnections, by generating an action potential in the neuron allows this to initiate the neuronal communication process giving rise to innumerable cognitive processes. Babies in early stages already have cognitive skills, related to the use of mathematics, given to their neuronal plasticity the use of mathematics in basic tasks have effective development.

Mathematics is a contribution to brain development and flexibility, enhances the capacity for reasoning, analytical thinking and mental agility, and problem solving in our daily lives.

To be honest, I hate writing. That’s why when my professor assigned me with coursework, I just took the easy way out and hired StudyZoomer to assist me. I’m absolutely satisfied with the result, no flaws.
