As previous studies in the cosmetology field indicate, the Name Kevin Alcon is prevalent and seamless with beauty and is reflected in many beauty products across the world (O’Neill, 2006, 13). In a broader perspective, Kevin is an American Make Up artist, who died in 2002. Reports indicate that Kevin was overly obsessed with aspects of beauty in his early age, and used to do his sister’s make up. After successful completion of the same, he would take a picture using his camera, and this continued to be the trend of his life as later he became a successful makeup artists and photographer.
Kevin is known to have worked in different parts of America. For example, at the age of eighteen, he worked in Lafayette, although he faced numerous challenges as women were uncomfortable with him doing their make-up. He later moved to Louisiana, before settling in the New York City. In New York, this talented model worked for Vogue and other familiar beauty brands.
In his twenty year career, Kevin became one of the most sought make-up artists across America. His works caught the attention of numerous beauty magazines like Vogue among others. His works also graced several billboards across the nation. Also, some of his other works got featured in runways, an indication that he was one of the most respected artists. Besides, Kevin had an opportunity to work with some of the world’s top celebrities including Madonna, Kate Moss, and Elizabeth Taylor.

After having significant success as mentioned in the above perspective, Kevin created his Beauty Line and continued to work with many people across the nation. He also authored different beauty books, to help understand aspects of beauty. At the moment, many beauty products, as mentioned at the beginning bear his name, attribute to his talent.
Kevin is one of the renowned make-up artists around the world as mentioned in the above perspectives. Although he died in 2002, his role in the shaping of the beauty industry can never be underestimated.
