The video from Lab 10 is the 8th episode of the 1st season of a nature documentary titled planet Earth (Attenborough 1). This episode is about jungles around the world and the endowment of these resources on planet Earth. Jungles take up 3 percent of planet Earth and have more than 50 percent of the species found on the planet. Some of the animals depicted in this episode are the chimpanzees living in Ngogo forest. The chimpanzees are seen protecting their territory from their close neighbors and other animal species within the forest.
The photographers and videographers used high definition cameras that enable the viewer to see animals that live on the floor of the jungle. The floor is almost always dark but the cameras bring their hidden lives to light. The episode also showed the disturbing images of the lives of parasitic fungi. The fungi infiltrated the insect, feed on it and busted the host’s body open. This video brings to light the lives of micro-organisms and large organisms and how they all strive to survive. It is important to conserve biodiversity because it boosts the productivity of the ecosystem, in which all species great or small have important roles to play.
The video is a motivation for us to conserve our environment and the planet at large. The planet provides habitat for not only human beings but also for other animals. The story of how the chimpanzees protect their territory should serve as a motivation for human beings to conserve and protect the planet.

Wait! LAB 10 paper is just an example!

Conserving biodiversity is important for the survival of all forms of life and that is why in my personal space, I plant trees and recycle materials to protect the ecosystem. We can also maintain biodiversity around the world by using biodegradable materials (Pearson 367).
