The paper documents some of the exemplary features that have helped elevate Saudi as one of the best tourist destinations in the world. First of all, it describes the lifestyle of the people of Saudi by first highlighting about their hospitality to visitors or tourists. People in Saudi are amicable and often welcome tourists or expatriates. It also elaborates on the highly disciplined culture of the Saudi people that is maintained by the Sharia laws. These particular Islamic laws govern the way people live and act in Saudi. Life in Saudi Arabia
Riyadh is the capital city of Saudi and it is the biggest, and most beautiful cities in the Arabic peninsula. With a population of 28 million, 9 million being foreigners it is clear that the Saudis are greatly generous and hospitable people. The lifestyle in this part of the world is mainly governed by the Sharia laws, because the country is an exclusively Islamic state. Sharia laws govern everything including the way people dress, the foods they eat, and the overall lifestyles of Saudi Arabia citizens. As a tourist, however, one can only admire the lifestyle of the Saudi people. Starting from the exquisite, beautiful malls where one can enjoy a variety of services such as shopping and even eating ADDIN CSL_CITATION { “citationItems” : [ { “id” : “ITEM-1”, “itemData” : { “DOI” : “10.1108/S2042-1443(2010)0000002010”, “ISBN” : “2042-1443”, “ISSN” : “01607383”, “abstract” : “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides an interesting case study of a Middle Easterncountry that has begun to exploit its potential as a destination. The malls in Saudi are second to none. That is why many tourists stream into the country to buy themselves not only quality but also cheap products. In addition to that, Riyadh has one of the best parks and large gardens that often attract married couples on honeymoon or vacation. Modern state-of-the-art hotel facilities further complement these parks and gardens. In fact, it is illogical to compare hotels in Riyadh to any other in the world. Finally, Riyadh cannot be described without the inclusion of its beautiful social life. Good picnics at different desert oases characterize the social life. That is why Saudi Arabia stands in the middle of the Middle East. It is arguably the biggest nation in the Arabic peninsula with the best exotic destinations. To sum everything up from the above description life in Saudi is nothing short of exemplary. This paper, therefore, seeks to explain the way of life that people lead in Saudi. It also elaborates on the exotic destinations that have elevated Saudi as one of the best tourist destinations.
