Man of man: book review

The heart of man: Erich fromm

The heart of man is a book that analyzes the state of man through psychology: if it is a good or evil, his freedom, his determinism and the taking. Alternative, which makes it decadent and makes it venerable. Yo. Werewolf or lamb? Introductory chapter to the original question ‘Man is a wolf or a lamb, whether good or bad’ the story of man was written by force and blood. Partly by the representatives of the wolves: Stalin, Hitler, etc. And lambs trying to imitate the wolves. If human nature tends to destroy itself, we are all wolves. Man has two faculties for which he must decide for himself: good and evil. The common man with an extraordinary power represents the greatest danger to humanity, since it can cause wars, encourage many others to follow him and, through passions, turn the lamb into a murderer.

Different types of violence

Playful or playful violence

It is found in the forms of violence exercised to demonstrate the ability, not to destroy, and not motivated by hate or a destructive impulse: it is a form of play (karate, Zen Buddhist, etc.) This is the use of capacity, not the ability to destruction. Reactive force used to defend life, freedom, dignity and property. Sometimes, this type of violence is manipulated by political leaders who only want to achieve their own objectives. However, it depends on the lack of reflection of the individual or the nation and the emotional dependence of these leaders.

Wait! Man Of Man: Book Review paper is just an example!

Violence frustrated by jealousy and envy.

VENESGATIVE VIOLENCE serves the biological function of survival. The mature and productive person is less manipulated by revenge than the neurotic person who has difficulty living independently and completely. This type of violence is linked to the rupture of faith. Compensation for violence This type of violence replaces the productive activity of a defenseless person for reasons of weakness, fear, incompetence, lack of creativity, mediocrity, etc. Compensates for its impotence for violence and draws your sadism: the fear of freedom. The pleasure of totally controlling a person or a living being is the essence. The Roman Colosseum is a monument of sadism. Killing blood is a way to transcend life when surrounded by blood drunkenness to feel alive.

The love of death and decay syndrome

This is the quintessence of evil in which there are three malignant orientations: necrophilia, narcissism and symbiotic fixation in the mother. Necrophilia loves death. Necrophilia lives in the past, not in the present or future. They like bodies, massacre, destruction, decomposition. Transform the organic into inorganic. They love everything that does not grow and is mechanical. Example: Hitler’s biophilia aspires to life. Tendency to preserve life and fight against death;Present in all individuals. The healthy man loves life, sadness is a sin and a virtue of joy. The full use of biophilia is in productive orientation. Who has biophilia is a saint and necrophilic is a madman. Homo consumption – Homo Mechanicus Automata, Organization of Man and Indifference to Life. Man of artifacts who feel attracted to mechanics and predisposed to life. Humanist industrialism contradicts the principles of life.

Individual and social narcissism

This chapter examines the study of narcissism to understand nationalism and the causes of war. The first state of narcissism, primary narcissism, develops in the fetus and later in childhood until the child discovers objects and people outside his son. The second state is called the narcissism of the madman attributed to a man who has reached a high degree of power. Examples: Egyptian pharaohs, Césares, Hitler, Stalin, etc. The third state is part of the ‘normal’ neurotic ordinary narcissism, which manifests itself in different ways, what people say. Others do not care. Is subject to criticism. It is a passion whose intensity can be grouped with sexual desire or the desire to live. Narcissism now cohesion examples: Nazi nationalism and racial narcissism. The cargo of the narcissistic group decreases by focusing on the development of valuable material, intellectual or artistic productions. Lack of objectivity and rational judgment. It is used as a psychological condition to make war. Is antagonistic to reason and love. The man is completely mature when he stops being narcissistic. Humanism is to think that nothing human is foreign to a person, the ‘I am you’

Incestuous links

The seductive influence of parents is a very important cause of incestuous trends. The incestuous attachment to the mother engenders a feeling of fear and destruction that is broken only by the cut of the umbilical cord, that is, the dependence of the mother. When a person is linked to this link, their independence, their freedom and their responsibility weaken. Incestuous fixing levels benign level: these people need a woman who consumes, mime, ame, admire. This level does not change the sexual or emotional function of the individual. Severe and neurotic level: it is divided into several sub -levels. If you need an unconditional maternal figure to wait and make few applications. Fear and rebellion against the mother-asposa, who constantly submits to her and rebels, progress and can grow, because while the human being depends on the mother, the father and an incestuous and unconscious attachment, the human being cannotfeel fully. Decadence syndrome (degree of regression): refers to a poor person who reveals his life and growth because he is condemned to death and disability, narcissism, death and incest. Growth syndrome (level of progression): This is the person who loves life, which is free and independent, which is biophilic and loves neighbor.

Freedom, determinism and alternative

This chapter is the final conclusion of all the topics discussed in this book. The essence of man, defined as a contradiction of human existence, can be related to two facts: man is an animal that does not have enough instinct to survive in relation to the animal and thus believe that tools and language. The man is aware of himself: his past, present and future;Friends, enemies, alternatives, options, etc. Man is neither good nor bad, he can return to destructive and irrational orientations, or approach an illuminated and progressive leadership. Human Libertad is based on the ability to follow the voice of reason, health, well -being and consciousness in the face of the voices of irrational passions. When one is dominated by the passions, the individual is trapped; When the reason prevails, it is free.

Freedom is not the exercise of free will, but the knowledge of the best way to make the best decision according to knowledge: knowledge of good and evil. The right action for the desired objective. Knowledge of the forces that underlie desire – unconscious desires. Understand the real options you can choose. Knowledge of the consequences of the choice made. Know that, as such, it is only effective if there is the will to act. Man fails in the art of living because he does not know when to make decisions that allow him to be free, strengthen his heart, instead of hardening him every time he makes a bad decision. To make such decisions, there are real possibilities, or one or the other, which are determined by the reason or passion of the individual. The actions of man are always evoked by unconscious affections that act in his personality.

Man can choose between good and evil, between alternatives determined by the general situation in which he is.
