The heart of man: Erich fromm

The heart of man is a book that analyzes the state of man through psychology: if it is a good or evil, his freedom, his determinism and the taking. Different types of violence

Individual and social narcissism

Man fails in the art of living because he does not know when to make decisions that allow him to be free, strengthen his heart, instead of hardening him every time he makes a bad decision. To make such decisions, there are real possibilities, or one or the other, which are determined by the reason or passion of the individual. The actions of man are always evoked by unconscious affections that act in his personality. 

Man can choose between good and evil, between alternatives determined by the general situation in which he is.
