In conducting their activities, such businesses whether big or small may need to manage customer and vendor accounts. This is vital in helping manage the daily transactions and aiding inefficient operations. QuickBooks Online, as well as the desktop version, is used for small businesses. They are also used by business owners that may not understand the complexities involved in accounting. The business owners can enter their transactions easily, and it also helps them identify potential errors. QuickBooks Online has the customer and vendor functions which aid in different activities such as tracking expenses, tracking sales, and updating the vendor and customer information when the need arises (Crosson & Yacht, 2017). The QuickBooks Online also offers a feature where one can track the labor costs as well as time spent on different activities which help businesses improve on their processes and increase on their efficiency. The data generated from the QuickBooks database can be used in making managerial decisions geared towards improving the business operations. While interacting with QuickBooks, the Accountant’s Feature was appealing since it offers efficiency and saves on time. One can hire a qualified accountant to help them learn their operations in an effective manner.
