Many people are busy with work and do not have enough time for their children
Working is necessary for most people. People work to earn income whereas for others working is for personal career satisfaction. Similarly, having time for children is also important. However, being too much busy with work takes up ones time, and they end up spending little time with their children. Recently, many people work hard, and they don’t mind working for a longer time. The negative result is that it affects the modern family and society. This essay seeks to discuss how being too busy with work makes people not to have enough time with their children.
In the modern community, people are facing more pressures at work than previously due to high competition for jobs. The urban populations are growing up yearly with more students graduating from school. Everyone wants to get a job, have a better paying job or even a higher position at work. The only way to demonstrate you are better than the other competitors is by working harder and working overtime. Some people even take the difficult tasks at work to prove that they are better than the rest. On the other hand, by working overtime one takes family time such that they see their children for fewer hours. Therefore, spending time with children becomes a problem since one cannot find the time to be with them.
Another reason that makes people too much busy with work is to get enough income. With the rising cost of living, many people cannot be sustained by their regular salary.

Wait! Many people busy with work and have not enough time for their children paper is just an example!

Therefore, they are forced to have more than one job a day. This makes one spend up to more than twelve hours working. Working for those many hours deprives one of the opportunities to have enough time with their children. This is because one has to get up very early in the morning and come back home very late in the evening always leaving and finding their children asleep or at school (Jabs, and Devine 1). They end up rarely seeing their children or even the time to talk or play with them.
Some jobs are very demanding regarding timelines and achieving targets. A person with such kind of job may be forced to spend a lot of their time doing the job to meet deadlines. Some people even take their work home and instead of spending their free time with their families, they spend it completing the work they carried home (Jabs, and Devine 1). Nobody ever wants to lose their jobs, and therefore they spend any time they have trying to complete the tasks assigned to them before the provided time expires. They try so much to deliver on what is expected of them on the jobs forgetting that their children also need to spend time with them.
In conclusion, it’s evident that being too busy with work deprives parents the opportunity to spend time with their children. People lack time due to reasons like job competition, the need to earn enough income and high demanding jobs. One’s crucial task should be making work-life balance since they are living in this century where work life is not as simple as it used to be. People need to spare some time for the children on their tight work schedules since it is very important to spend time with them. Therefore, people should not be so busy with work until they have no enough time for their children.
