The Central University of Ecuador within the Faculty of Administrative Sciences has the Business Administration career, which in its curricular mesh, referring to the third semester, establishes financial mathematics as one of the chairs to be approved to graduate with the degree of BachelorIn business administration.

Students graduated in this career can perform in the creation and management of business and services production companies, at management levels, operations in all types of organizations, design, evaluation and management of investment projects and development of organizations, in research, Advice, Business and Business Consulting and in the establishments of technical criteria for the optimization of resources: human, technical, material and financial.

Focusing on the optimization of financial resources, the Chair of Financial Mathematics will play an important role when contributing with specific knowledge so that future graduates with the title of Business Administrators in such a way that they achieve, at the time of performing in a company,that it is competitive within commercial markets. But how will the Chair of Financial Mathematics achieve contribute with a basty knowledge to students who will focus on the optimization of resources within the business markets?

The microcurricular planning of the Chair of Financial Mathematics will contribute to the profile of graduates with the analysis of different business scenarios, the application of management and administration techniques for decision -making regarding investments thus giving a resolution to the problems existing in theLabor field.

In this way, the calculation of interest will be studied, whether this compound or simple, which will help to avoid financial problems within the company and its relatives, both in the short and long term, as well as models and mathematical cases focused on theFinance to know the company’s obligations with third parties, a better knowledge of existing offers in the market in such a way that the company we are working on is productive, competitive and leader within a market sector.

In this way, when meeting the objectives set by this chair, the necessary knowledge focused on finance and decision making within companies will be given to the students, so that they provide approaches, research and business projects for the market sectorsAnd they also contribute resolutions to financial problems of companies. And future administrators to comply with the approaches, research, projects and problem solving will be related, either directly as indirect, with other specializations within the market.

Because administrators must make decisions, regarding investments within companies, accounting contributes with technical and precise records of operations carried out from a certain economic period of a company. Likewise, it is related to the right, since it contributes to the market with laws, norms and regulations that regulate financial instruments. It will also be related to the economy, because it indicates the segments of the market where a fool or company will have better economic benefits, and thus also relates it to political science, engineering, computer science, sociology and among many more disciplines.

And in this way it is implied that financial mathematics has a very practical application because it has a deep relationship with problem solving at the same time with several disciplines, which will help not only in the daily life of many families,but also in the business world.
