Sharon despised church ever since she was little and didn’t want anything to do with going to church. To her, it was like a waste of time, and she preferred doing other things rather than going to church. Even though she was born and brought up in a Christian Catholic family, Christianity didn’t make any sense to her. At that time, they lived in Massachusetts and being born in a Christian family she was meant to attend CCD classes, but all that didn’t change anything (“Sharron’s Testimony”). She even went ahead and had a confirmation at Lutheran church. At times she would lie about being sick or even run away on Sundays to avoid going to church. To her church was a boring place where people would sit down and listen to things she could not understand.
This attitude didn’t change, and it got worse when she joined college. All she could do was to go out to parties, drink a lot and make new friends. This is what made her happy thus she was not bothered about gospel and issues concerning Christianity. All she cared about was being happy, and since there were other things he could do to be happy other than concentrating on Christianity, she focused more on those other things. Her condition was worsened by the fact that she was a science student and did a little study on humanity. Science had corrupted her mind, and everything about God and Christianity didn’t look like real. She described herself as an atheist at that time because she doubted a lot of things about god especially creation story.

Wait! Movie/documentary reflection ( Christian) paper is just an example!

However, her journey took a complete turn when she realized the life she was living was a mistake.
At one time her grandmother was diagnosed with cancer, and she was dying. She went to visit her grandmother in the company of her sister, and as they were talking, they started wondering where their grandmother would go if she died (“Sharron’s Testimony”). After this incident, Sharon started thinking a lot about her grandmother’s death. It was at this point when she began reading her Bible carefully although she did it secretly since she did not want her boyfriend to know. Later on, she made a concrete resolution to read the Bible consistently without fear, and she confessed that she got a new revelation about the word of God than she had before. She got to learn more than what she had experienced during those days she used to go to the church. She decided to give her life to Christ, and God revealed Himself to her in a dream. From the dream, she understood that God needed her to be saved and that He loved her so much.
Ever since she decided to change her ways God has done a lot upon her life. She finds much joy in reading the word of God and Christianity is no longer boring. She realized that she was a sinner no matter how much she thought that she was a good person (“Sharron’s Testimony”). She had more desire to learn about God and know His purpose for her life. She turned her life to Christ and abandoned her old ways of life, and this included her obsession with science. If I were to meet Sharon, I would ask her whether she regrets taking the new path to salvation and the challenges she has faced in her new life. One thing that she did publicly was to stop hiding her passion for Christ, and it had a positive impact on her boyfriend’s life as well.
