Abstract
This paper looks into my favorite commercial advert. The coca cola company is an international firm dealing with soft drinks and beverages. The company uses various techniques to promote its products. Commercial adverts are the major ways in which the firm advertises its product. One such advert is the 2016’s “taste the feeling”. The advert uses real-life experiences which makes it unique and outstanding. The one minute advert shows the pleasure a person derives from taking coca cola. The number of views of the advert on YouTube is a clear indicator of how the advert is classic.
My favorite commercial
The coca cola commercial advert is my favorite commercial that I love to watch over and over again. The advert is titled “Taste the Feeling” and is part of the company’s global campaign for its products.
The commercial advert shows drinking coca cola as a means of bringing simple pleasure as well as means to special and memorable moments. The creativity in the advert sought to place all the brands of the company under one advert. The advert has been on the air since 2016 and was developed by a number of international agencies. It runs for 60 seconds and can be described as being emotional communication of product. The advert has a number of elements. One of the elements is the anthem, courtesy of Mercado-McCann who created it (Company et al.).
The advert seeks to show the experiences of celebration as result of taking coca cola.

A key feature in the advert is the” under pressure” song which illustrates the life of a teenager. Drinking coca cola is seen as providing the means of easing the day to day tensions. Part of the advert is the break which shows a young couple who reconcile after taking coca cola despite having a breakup. Brotherly love is shown in the advert where a unique relationship between brothers is shown where one brother rescues the other after finding him without a coca cola and they enjoy a special moment together. The advert goes ahead to show a male shopper in a supermarket who by drinking a coca cola catches the attention of the lady cashier (Coca Cola, 2016).
The 2016 coca cola advert still runs to date although there are other adverts which have been produced afterward. The choice of the producer to use life experiences makes it favorable. The pictures and the video itself are attractive and make one remain glued to the advert. The commercial advert is not only inspiring but shows real-life experiences.
