Question one
The organization incorporates the management functions of planning, organizing, leading (P-O-L-C) framework in its daily operations (Beatty et.al p.110). The goals of the company are aligned with the goals of the employee empowering their real power to make things to happen. On the other hand, the employees are allowed to behave like the owners of the organization. They are encouraged to solve problems the way they view them and possess the real power in their positions. The management of the organization lends an ear to the ideas emanating from the lower management levels.
Question two
Payment of the employees in regards to the performance can lead to adverse effects on the organization. The employees have the chance to earn more salary the moment the organization is performing well as there isn’t an upward limit to curb the amount an employee can make. It will be unfair for a good and bad employee to be paid the same amounts. The salaries are supposed to be paid based on personal performance as opposed to the company performance.
Question three
Penalizing low performers in the organization has a negative effect on the company. It kills the employee’s morale to perform and achieve the set target of the organization. This will change the attitudes and behaviors of the penalized employees who may, in turn, affect another employee’s performance to be dismal. Therefore, the organization might not achieve the set targets through unfavorable working conditions.
