Evaluation approach is a method that can be used by the educators in the training program to examine the quality and the effectiveness of the training programs in nursing (Carr, Cassels, Jiang & Sherbinin, 2007). The evaluation approach is the starting point for developing a good master plan for evaluation.
1. Curriculum Components
Program mission and alignments (The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department (TLCHD), 2018a).)
Vision and alignment
Program philosophy and alignment
Program goal and alignment
2. Evaluation Models
Social learning theory – essential in the examination of environmental and personal factors that can affect the behavior of individuals.
Adult learning theory – critical in understanding the learning mechanisms in adults and be in a position (McCawley, 2009) to differentiate the abilities for the success of the training program.
Behavioral learning theory – demonstrates how personal behaviors influence the health of an individual.
Humanism learning theory – focuses on the dignity, potentials, and freedom of a person. It provides the basis by which a paradigm is attained among the adults by exposing them to consistent learning that will enhance a positive attitude among the adults.
Caring learning theory – essential in creating a positive relationship between clinical doctors and the patients specifically to promote health care among the adults.

They include:

Health promotion
Disease prevention
4. Certification
Since my project considers collaboration between the project team and a public health facility (Ohio Department of Health, 2017). The application for the certification can be made in any community health organization in the state (The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department (TLCHD), 2018b).
5. The Basis for Master Plan Evaluation
Encompass the curriculum components and the parties responsible for each curriculum component (Russell, 2015). The master plan includes all the evaluation models and the evaluation strategies that have been used in the project plan from the start to the ultimate.
