Child Depreciation
After watching all the required videos, I would like to talk about the issue of child depreciation. Children are our future and both mental, and the material support is crucial to building a prosperous society. When parents get into divorce or plan to have another baby, the role of a child in the family is often underestimated. Admittedly, the adults should think about how to increase the quality of a child’s life rather than about individual comfort.
My primary argument is that child depreciation prevents normal child growth development and formation of a sustainable community. Attention and parental love are the top needs of a child to grow in harmony and happiness. When adults are having more children or going through a divorce, their adolescent suffers because he or she does not feel the importance of existence (Parker 16). A minor is not formed as a complete personality yet. Therefore, he or she needs support, advice, and guidance from both a father and a mother. Without proper care, children gain problems with self-expression and may become aggressive or depressed which will decrease their performance in school (Usakli 257).
Opposite point to my argument is that the lack of extensive parental care can make a child capable of making independent decisions. Children have more space for making a decision and learn how to be independent quicker (Eisenberg & Earls 4). Child depreciation can serve as the impulse for the individual to leave the comfort zone and learn to control life and be responsible for actions.

Wait! persuasive speech paper is just an example!

My audience should be interested in the topic because some of us will have children in the future. My body point pattern is Problem-Solution, and my point is that in most cases, child depreciation leads to negative consequences rather than boosts independent way of living. Parents serve as the primary model for the child’s behavior. Therefore, adults have to treat their adolescents with love and respect and as equal individualities, if we want to live in a prosperous and sustainable society.
