The use of excessive force by the police officers roils the United States once again. There has been an increase in the fatal shootings by the police officers according to the recent study. Recently, more shooting and killing has been seen among officers while they are in their line of duty. In the United States, major social and movements in the US have involved the use of excessive force by the police. Such movements include global war on terrorism, civil rights movement as well as the war on drugs CITATION Coo15 l 1033 (Cooper, 2015) The police brutality was condemned by the committee of UN against torture in 2014. Additionally, it condemned the use of excessive force by the law implementation in the US, highlighting the frequency of police brutality on the black individuals. This paper, therefore, seeks to discuss ways in which police brutality against the minority groups has affected the way in which people view the police. Additionally, this paper aims at showing graphical statistics on the percentage, graph of the minority groups in the US who have been affected and the location by state or city. Besides, the paper aims at discussing ways on how to end police brutality on the minority groups and how police brutality makes our families unsafe as well as what we can do about it.
Due to police brutality, the people of US have changed their view on how they used to see the police officers. They see the police officers as murderers.

A murderer is a person who unlawfully kills another person or the citizens. The police officers unlawfully kill citizens, an act which is against the laws of the country. Furthermore, the people view the police officers as ruthless people who do not have compassion or pity for others. The police officers are also viewed as merciless and inhuman. Police officers are barbaric, lacks human qualities and have no mercy on fellow citizens thus, the reason why they carryout brutal act on citizens. CITATION Cha13 l 1033 (Chaney & Ray , 2013)

There are several ways to end police brutality which can the done by the government and the civilians. For instance, legal action against police brutality should be taken. The law of the country should take legal actions to reduce police brutality. Every time a police is involved in the brutal act, he or she should be reported to the government, taken to court and prosecuted as well as be answerable to the questions regarding the brutal act. If they continue to get sued to courts, they will be concerned with the issues of brutality. Additionally, citizens should vote out the politicians and aspirants who encourage police brutality. Politicians whose main agenda is inciting the citizens and the police should be voted out during elections. Politicians who are not addressing the act of police brutality should not be given a second chance in the office CITATION Toc12 l 1033 (Toch, 2012). Both the government and the citizens should engage themselves in dialogue with the police heads and Cops to educate the police officers on how to handle citizens. Moreover, the police administrations should also cooperate with police officers to end police brutality. Finally, the police officers involved in the brutal act should be recorded and exposed to social media and the internet CITATION Rod12 l 1033 (Rodriguez, 2012)Police brutality has numerous effects on our families as well as keeping these our families unsafe in several ways. For instance, the police officers who are used to brutality may extend the act to family level whenever there is a quarrel in the family. This may cause death as well as fear among the family members. Furthermore, the families affected due to police brutality and the children who are orphaned because their parents were brutally killed by the police live in fear. CITATION Tay13 l 1033 (Taylor, 2013)In order to do away with fear and violence in the family, there is a need to create social awareness where families affected can be given proper counseling on how to maintain peace in the family. Besides, the children affected should be given proper ways to overcome fear resulting from police brutality and given proper parental care and guidance.
