Sandra Cisneros is a prolific poet who applies postmodernism in her literary works. For example, her workers such as ‘The House of Mango’ and ‘Woman Hollering Creek’ shows the use of postmodernism to a significant detail. Cisneros breaks down the setting, character, theme, and plot of her work in a way to demonstrate postmodernism (Cisneros 3). ‘The House of Mango’ is a story regarding memories rather than the conventional narrative structure due to the novel being old. ‘The House of Mango’ became acceptable in many countries that speak Latino and also those that speak English. It became a book that was accepted across the board regarding different languages and cultures.
Sandra Cisneros had another highly significant novel that was crucial in postmodernism and telling about herself. ‘Woman Hollering Creek’ is a critical novel that creates a feminist form of postmodernism for the entire collection. The postmodern identity of the play has three main sections that are pivotal to the play. The sections of the play are critical regarding the definition of the main themes of the play (Cisneros 2). ‘Woman Hollering Creek’ offers useful insights regarding postmodernism themes such as types of closure, stylistic techniques, motifs, and themes. Postmodernism declares that cultural behaviors and beliefs are normally considered to be a natural phenomenon. The works she did include poetry, short story collections, memoirs, and hybrid works.
