Trump’s Controversial Ideas
Before his election, especially during his campaign, Donald Trump made several speeches that raised controversial debates. For instance, he asserted that he would ban Muslims from entering the United States and also affirmed that he would deport all illegal immigrants. Some of these actions are viable, but others are not possible to happen. Having been chosen as the president, Trump is likely to exact more force on attaining all his formulation. Although quite some of them can occur, various outcomes will apparently arise as a result thereby affecting the Unites States in one way or the other.
Being the president, Trump has executive powers through which he can settle on some of these issues. However, many of his ideas will require changes to make them viable. For instance, section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1951 mandates the president with executive powers to ban excludable aliens and noncitizens from entering the country for any specified period. Although Trump can use this Act to prevent Muslims from entering the country, his formulation will likely encounter a court challenge and be banned. This reaction would emanate from the fact that Muslim is religion, and therefore the formulation can be overruled as religious discrimination which is a violation of the constitution. Changes that may happen include the banning of people based on nationality and not religion. This formulation would not get overruled since nationality is not a constitutionally protected right.

Wait! President elect, Donald Trump before he was elected, made several speeches. For example, banning muslims from entering the U.S., deporting illegal immigrants among others. Do you think Trump will be.. paper is just an example!

Other changes are that banning immigration at a national level would prohibit people that would have been useful to America. Examples include computer engineers, scholars, and programmers. For instance, Steve Jobs’ mother was a Muslim immigrant.
Just as its name asserts, illegal immigration is illegal. After being president, Trump will likely press the issue of deporting illegal immigrants further towards its implementation. With his acquired executive powers, Trump will be able to facilitate the implementation of this idea. However, many hindrances that would bring various changes exist. For instance, some countries would fail to comply in receiving the deported people. More still, the costs of hiring airplanes to be used for the separation would cost billions of dollars that had not previously included in the budget. Many changes would also happen, such as reduction in labor. Most of the illegal immigrants engage in simple yet vital jobs such as performing house chores. Deporting them back to their countries will render these areas with nobody to offer the required services. The government of United States would also develop hatred or poor diplomacy ties with those countries whose citizens gets deported.
Most of the outcomes that would result from the implementation of Any of Trump’s ideas are quite similar and can get generalized together. The consequences would be negative thereby impacting the United States unfavorably. One key outcome would be ruining of the America’s reputation. Due to its superiority and economic power, and its involvement with aiding countries lacking food or experiencing wars, United States have maintained a high reputation. By preventing Muslims from entering the United States, this reputation will be negatively affected. Besides, the United States has a commitment towards equal treatment of human beings, despite their ethnicity, faith or religion. Preventing Muslims from entering U.S. would be a violation of this long-held commitment.
Deporting illegal immigrants will also have adverse outcomes. Some of the illegal immigrants have established companies and businesses that are flourishing well and helping boost the U.S. economy. Deporting these individual, some of whom are also corporate members and executives in the major companies would lead to adverse effects. Also, the costs and funding required when deporting illegal immigrants are usually paid out by the government. To deport all the immigrants, the government will require billions of dollars. As a result, the taxpayers will be levied heavy taxes to meet this new financial need.
