Private vs. Public Schools
Over the past years, debates have arisen regarding which type of schooling system is the best between public and private schools. Private schools’ advocates argue that in regards to quality education, there is no other type of educational facility that can be compared with the private schools. They assert that education in one of these facilities is more valuable. Additionally, it is more rewarding than those of public schools. On the other hand, the advocates of public school education argue that these institutions provide opportunities for the students to be better rounded both worldly and scholastically. As a graduate of a private school, I believe public school is the best since parents and teachers are more concerned with the students’ performance, and also students’ supervision is much easier due to smaller class size.
First, in private schools, both teachers and parents are dedicated to the children’s education. In this regard, as compared to public schools, teachers are dedicated to ensuring that the students perform excellently. Notably, this is because their jobs are dependent upon the students’ performance (Niche 1). However, this is not true for the government-sponsored schools. For the public school, teachers are reluctant since the government pays them. In this case, their jobs are not dependent on the student’s performance. Also, parents in private schools are more concerned with the quality of their children’s education.

Wait! Private Vs Public Schools paper is just an example!

They will, therefore, prefer private schools over the public ones.
Compared to public schools, private schools have smaller class size. In government-sponsored schools, the tuition fee is much affordable for most parents. Therefore, most parents with an average income would send their children to public schools. Few will send their children private schools. Notably, this explains why in public schools, the number of students in a given class is always high. In contrast, fees paid in private schools are in most cases high. Therefore, only students with “good” backgrounds are most likely to attend. As a result, private schools tend to have a small class size. Notably, with small class size, it is much easier for the teachers to provide close supervision and thus enhancing excellent performance (Kennedy 1).
In conclusion, it is apparent that as compared to public schools, private schools offer quality education. First, in private school, both teachers and parents are more concerned about their children/students education as compared to their counterparts in public school. Moreover, students’ supervision is much easier in private school than in public schools due to the smaller class size.
