The purpose of this article “Understanding the Values of the Forgotten World Heritage Pyramids in Sudan” is to understand the unique value of the long forgotten pyramids in Sudan. The author focuses on the designs of the pyramids, architectural style and structural approach to establish the particular value and apply it to enhance extra value. Not many people are aware of the existence of ancient pyramids in Sudan since most people associate pyramids in Egypt (Fahmi, Ahmad & Hashim, 2018).
The results of the study are compatible with the aim of the research and the article’s title. The author has outlined the methods that were used in collecting and analyzing data which increases the credibility of the arguments. The study achieved its objectives which included to find unique values and use them to add extra value. The pyramid structural approach is considered an additional value. The article is useful since it provides information that can be applied in the future in making conservations of these pyramids. The argument is convincing since it focuses on the materials of construction, architectural designs and styles and authenticity of the pyramids to show the need for the future conservation practice of Sudan’s World Heritage pyramids.
According to the article “Archaeology: The wonder of the pyramids” is that the tremendous Egyptian complex on the Giza plateau has been in existence for around five millennia.
