The Missing Picture Review
The essay question requires watching and providing opinions on what the director tries to show the audience in the movie, ‘The Missing Picture.’
The review would give the audience skills that they would use in evaluating the various scenes shown by the director in the movie.
This paper gives a review of the various scenes shown in the movie, The Missing Picture.
The two scenes that are important to analyze include the flashback where the author remembers his father guiding him on the interpretation of some words to English. And the scene where he recalls deciding to tell his mother about stealing mangoes at the age of nine.
The two scenes are adequate for the review. Thus they will showcase the understanding of the learned materials. Therefore, it would be easier to demonstrate the knowledge of the content of the movie review learned throughout the course (Wöllmer et al. 48). Since enrolling for the course, the learners have learned a lot with limited opportunities to actualize the teachings. The scenes thus are adequate instruments in converting the theoretical knowledge to practical skills.
Nehad Khader, “The Power of Ridicule: Interview with Elia Suleiman,” Journal of Palestine Studies, v.44 n.4 (Summer 2015).
The essay is essential, since it will give the audience critical thinking skills, that would enable them to apply the theoretical knowledge they had learned earlier.
