Evidence of Racial Discrimination in the U.S
It is poignantly clear that racial discrimination has continued to prevail in the American landscape ranging from discriminatory laws, social practice and criminal behavior to members of a target group. The African Americans have experienced the brunt of this segregation as a result of their race and color. Racial prejudice has thrived in the U.S despite the zealous efforts of abolitionist and suffragettes to change some form of racism. The discrimination is most predominately felt in various government institutions (William et al. 41). Research shows that since the election of Trump hate crimes have raised and white supremacy attitudes have broadened. Racism is evident in employment sector where the rate of African Americans employed is much lower compared that of whites despite holding same qualifications. In the education sector, racial discrimination is prevalence with the fact that African American students are mostly faced with suspension even when their actions are similar to a deed by a white student.
Criminal Justice is another evidence of clear racism. African American makes up about 13% of the U.S population, and 40% of the prisoners are from the African American group (Chrisman 34). There is a high conviction of this ethnic group compared to the whites and also bear the severity of the sentence even if they committed similar crimes with whites. These are few of the many institutional racial prejudices against the African Americans.

Wait! Racial discrimination paper is just an example!

Racism is also evidence in the provision of health care, surveillance, and housing (Williams et al. 34).
In conclusion, racial discrimination is a problem that needs to be addressed to prevent future political upheaval and the probability of another civil war. The frequent death of innocent citizens caused by police is an indication there is a need to address this devastating issue of racism. Recent remarks by Trump have escalated the hate between ethnic groups and could spur more adversaries if ignored by the political class. Therefore, the government of U.S should enact laws that do not discriminate in terms of color or race. Various institutions should also abolish approaches that promote inequality between African Americans and the whites to achieve an end to racism and uphold humanitarian dignity and equality.
