Refugees Problems
The refugees have to be welcomed in other countries because they suffer from war and poverty. This is a lie that they make crimes in countries, they make many health issues, and the government will spend a lot of money. Refugees are people who run from their countries to others because they fear for their dear lives. Refugees are good people that want to stay in peace, but people think that they are bad. Refugees come to other countries to look for a place to stay without many problems. The refugees do not have a good time because the people think they make problems. The problems that many people think that the refugees are crime and health issues. However, refugees are people, and they are supposed to be protected. Laws are made to ensure that people are safe from being used badly. It is necessary to know that the refugees being the major source of the problems in a country such as crimes, health hazards and increased usage of money by the government are a bad lie.
America is the super power country of this world, but it is funny to know that they do not want refugees too. Even though they have some refugees, they hold them because they do not have another choice. Many American people hate to see or to have the refugees in their country. They say that the refugees are the cause of their problems. They think that the refugees will take the citizen’s job opportunities. In addition, American people see the refugees as a burden that they need to get rid of.

Wait! refugees problems paper is just an example!

In fact, they say that they use a lot of money that can help them to develop their country facilities and create more jobs. American people also say that the refugees bring a bad disease. They think that all diseases that are bad are brought to them by the people who came from Syria and Iraq as refugees. Other countries that do not allow refugees in their countries are not limited to Kuwait, UAE, and Bahrain. However, these countries in the Gulf are good in helping the refugees by giving them money (Jay, 2015). The countries are known to have a lot of money in the world because they have natural resources and have few people. In fact, the migrants in these countries are more than the citizens. So, the question of why they do not want to give residence to refugees when they have so many migrants. Consequently, the countries in the Gulf are known to fear the refugees because some of them do not have documents because they can bring a lot of bad which include crimes, diseases and political instability.
According to Ashley, Becky, and Schams (2015), Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Gulf with thirty-one million people. The world thinks that it should be accepting refugees. However, the world feels that the country does not accept any refugees. Nabil Othman, the person who represents the country in the UN HCR, says that is a myth. He holds that the country has been in the front of helping the refugees to get accommodations in their country. Othman says that it is a question of Saudi Arabia not being a party to the UN. Thus, all the refugees to Saudi Arabia are more or less thought not to be refugees, a terminology common for signatories to UN. Even though, there comes a bigger question. The question of why would the country hold 500,000 refugees based on its ability to hold more as compared to Lebanon holding 1.3 million, yet it has a smaller population. Saudi Arabia appetite for housing few refugees and the U.A.E preference to help out refugees while they are in other countries near the Syria border other than taking them in is justifiable. Most of the refugees from Syria are Sunni Muslims serving in the Islamic states. Both of these countries in the past they were trying to eliminate these Islamic states through bombing. It is logical to not that the Islamic states are thus unfriendly to the administration of the two countries. The countries then try as much as they can to avoid taking these people even if they are escapees of the Islamic state or the bombings they are releasing courtesy of their air force. The Saudi Arabia also is thought as a country that is not ready to help the refugees even with the explanations that they are have given on why they are not able to take in most of them. They argue that they have funded the refugee in other countries for settlement to a tune of $700 million. Even though, it is felt that they have given little compared to Lebanon that has spent to a tune of $5.5 billion for the refugees (Lauren, 2015).
Entry into any of the Gulf countries is next to impossible, with an exception of Algeria, Mauritania, Sudan and Yemen. It is a requirement for any of a foreign person entering into any of the Arab countries to get a Visa Card. The process of getting the Visa card is tedious and next to impossible. This has limited the number of refugees who are able to get into the countries. Most of the refugees who come to these countries do not have the documentation because they lose it in the process of locating safe destinations. The Gulf countries do not want to buy this side of the story. The world has the opinion that the countries in the Gulf have a greater responsibility to serve as compared to the European (Afzal, 2015). The argument is because Syria is near to these countries and majorly because of the massive wealth that they have immersed for themselves. Despite these arguments, the Gulf countries do not seem to be moved, they feel that they have a territory and pride to guide. The world feels that there is not enough reason that Gulf countries can give to satisfy the need the failure to service humanitarian needs of Syrians.
It is easy for people without documents to do a crime, and it is among the reasons that they do not want any refugees in their country. The dislike attacks are the major reason the rich countries in the Gulf fear to have the refugees in their countries. They prefer to help them out however they do not like the fact that they have to come and reside in their countries. With so many migrants, if the refugees come in many numbers they can decide to kill the Arabs to have the countries to them, so they think of that. The other country that suffers is Turkey because they gave houses for around 1.5 million refugees. It is predicted that the number is about to increase to 1.9 million in the country. Most of the refugees in this country are coming from the Syria. Most of the refugees are running away from the crisis that has existed for a while. The Turkistan’s too are not happy about the fact that they have to give places for the refugees to stay. They do this because of the convention that was brought into place in 1950. The convention is a movement that has been made through the development of an act that protects the refugees just like any other citizen. The citizens of Turkey are very sad because the government has used up to 1.5 billion dollars every year on helping the refugees. It is a huge amount of money. Also, the people of the country of Turkey are facing a hard time because of the imbalances that result from the coming refugees. This is as a result of the government opening to the Muslim refugees (Amira, 2015). The government of Turkey accepts refugees and directs them to certain places in the country. A good example is when the country got the refugees who are Muslims and settled them in Hatay, a minority tribe made of Christians. The tribe lived in utmost fear of the refugees an instance that would propel the government to want to rethink of its decision to take in more of the refugees.
Even though, the reasons as to why most of the refugees are taken in large numbers in the Europe. The credible source points out that the decision is informed by geographical matters. The analyst of the situation points out that most of the refugees prefer going to the Europe because it is easily accessible. The Gulf countries do not have a border shared with the Syria. Furthermore, the countries in the Gulf are difficult or next to impossible to access via the Mediterranean. Also, they argue that the country does support the refugees, only that they do not praise the act. According to the traditions of Arab, it is a taboo to speak of efforts taken into assisting a refugee. What is meant to be for assisting the wellbeing of the humans is something that they ought to do and not to speak of it because it is a necessity (Leonid, 2015). Consequently, is about the fact that they do not appear on the map of assistance since they do not treat the refugees as refugees other as visitors or guests. This is informed by the idea that they are not signatories to the Geneva Convention. Lastly, it is the issue that touches on social and the economic agendas of these Gulf countries. A source working in the Dubai with an origin from Turkey points out that the countries are giving lots of funding to settle the refugees. That is an act that proves that the countries in the Gulf are good and love the refugees. However, the question as to why the countries are not taking in the refugees in the countries has been answered. He argues that unlike the Saudia Arabia which has a large population and vast Land to accommodate the refugees; it is not the same for the other countries. The rest of the Gulf countries have very small populations that enable them to enjoy a status of wealth which they would not love to compromise. But, more to that is the issue of balancing the locals and the foreigners which have made the administration to wonder. It is clear that the countries have more of foreigners and immigrants than the locals. The thought of adding more of the foreigners tends to scare the government on how they will be able to balance them. Once more, it is felt that the countries in the Gulf do not have appropriate laws that would assist them to deal with migrants and refugees.
The refugees too are not welcome in Egypt because they are thought to do bad things through their connection with the Muslim Brotherhood. The refugees were noted to do this act that is not good for the economy and political structure of Egypt during the regime of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Thus, the decision that was made during that regime made it next to impossible to have refugees to the country since then. Consequently, the government made the decision to deport from the country all the refugees in the country (Lauren, 2015).
Amnesty International also shows that some of the high-income countries with an example of Russia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore are offering no settlement for the refugees despite the efforts by UN to have such countries opening their borders to refugees. Opening borders for refugees is an act of generosity that the countries are not supposed to take as punishment. Is more of good for the humanity? Even though, this is thought to be as a result of the threat that ISIS poses to the countries that have an open door policy for the refugees (Barın, 2015).
In brief, the refugees are not bad people as many said. It is true that some of the refugees engage in bad behavior like crimes, raping and also they bring diseases. However, some of them do this because it is the only way that they can get some money to sustain their living. This is a habit that the refugees can get rid of if only the countries having them treat them fairly and offer them jobs that can sustain their living. Moreover, the diseases they spread is because they do not get doctors who can take care of them. If only the doctors could understand that these are people like any other, they could treat them and not hand them over to their countries. That way they could be treated and be safe from spreading the diseases. Additionally, all the countries in the world should take it as their role to help those refugees who are facing difficulties. Besides, if all the countries with the ability in terms of space and funding could join hands to help the refugees, the issue of unnecessary crimes, diseases and deaths would be no more. Refugees do not choose their condition, but circumstances do. Countries that have fears on accommodating the refugees, they should come up with proper laws that can aid them in helping to tackle the world disaster. All the bad associated with refugees is something that can be done away with if all their problems are understood and taken care of by the relevant bodies.
In spite of these, a few impacts are connected with refugees. This may include; social, political and economic effects. One of the real impacts that refugees have on the host nation is the economic effect. The degree to which refugees supply the economy is in respect to the amount they take from it is a standout amongst the most challenged issues surrounding refuge strategy. It is seen that refugees are of minimal economic esteem and make initial requests upon settling in the host government leading to an economical constrain to the host country’s economy.
The economic effects that refugees have on the host nations are both positive and negative obligations. The principal constructive thing is that refugees can give their abilities and learning that can be utilized towards the advantage of neighborhood individuals. For instance accomplished Iraqi refugees living in Jordan can fill in as staff at doctor’s facilities and colleges. The second most likely commitment is connected with refugee’s entrance to transnational assets given by different refugees people or co-nationals living abroad, which combines person to person communication. At last, the vicinity of refugees can to some extend adds to the production of vocation profiting the nearby population.
Again, there are some negative impacts associated with refugees. To start with, when refugees arrive, the general population who live in the area they will be settling that need access to assets, training or power can be further underestimated. Second, the interest in nutrition and different products will increase, which will cause value ascends in the host state’s business sector. The rise of costs will to some degree influence the neighborhood states. For instance in Jordan, a reason at the expense journey that we see today happened in light of the expanding number of Syrian refugees entering the nation every day. As per changing studies surveying the financial pointers on a host nation by entries of refugees are per-capita GDP, swelling, wages, job, government consumption, or living expenses (UNHCR, 1997).
The second real impact that refugees people have on the host nation is the social effect. The refugees person vicinity in facilitating nations has potential social impacts on the ethnic equalization of assisting territories, social class, and conveying of social administrations. Besides, in refugee influenced and promoted regions, there may be disparities in the middle of refugees and non-evacuees that offer ascent to social pressure. Refugees people are frequently seen as profiting from favored access to assets distracted to the nearby host populace. In this appreciation, refugee status offers an open door for instruction, proficiency, professional preparing, and essential business. These advantages that refugees people obtain from host government are thought to be antagonistic benefactors according to neighborhood residents because now and again refugees get preferable social administrations over they do. One other negative commitment is that some social issues, for example, sexual orientation based strength and savagery frequently increment amid struggle and in refugee setting.
The third real impact that refugees people have on the host nation is the political effect. The thinks about the majority that are done on homeless demonstrate that the political and security effects of refugees have a tendency to be pessimistic on the host states. Refugees can posture significant political and security dangers for the host governments. They are a political power for their nation of home and the way they respond to the governmental issues of the host country. Besides, their political association with their indigenous nation has gotten to be vital elements in affecting relations between the sending and accepting countries (UNHCR, 1997).
A natural effect of refugees in the host nations is likewise apparent. Studies demonstrate that the vicinity of considerable quantities of refugees has been connected with ecological effects that are prevailing, water, regular assets, and rural development. For instance, the introductory entry period of refugee settlement may be joined by extreme natural effects when refugees move into and through a range to secure their basic needs. There are four most distinct natural effects: deforestation; land debasement; unsustainable groundwater extraction; and water contamination. It is vital to conclude that such physical effects can influence the long hard work chances of both refugees and the host population. The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has attempted much with respect to refugees, yet none appears a conclusive arrangement. Initially, it was the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, which showed that host nations must offer the same treatment and benefits to refugees as their particular nationals. It’s to a great extent unimaginable, and along these lines to a great extent disregarded. Other than this, all late movement has added up to minimal more than inadequate and unlikely arrangements and minor resolutions. Most were met with challenges in the implementation. Then again, the South America gets ready for refugees that were instated by the UNHCR have been profoundly useful. It ought to consider establishing these in different areas, as nothing else has sufficed.
In reducing of some of these effects, a perfect determination would have a couple key findings. To begin, it would cancel out the order that a host nation must accommodate its refugees. It would incapacitate refugees from settling in countries they know they won’t get help from. Second, it would address interchange types of support for refugees because, in spite of the fact that one state would not like to harbor them, it is not hard to their situation. Next, an intensive determination would redirect unusual consideration concerning nations in unsafe topographical settings that make unavoidable vulnerability to wild, refugees. At last, it would allow a unique guide to countries facilitating refugees. Obviously, the adverse impacts of refugees on a host country are excessively awesome, and states trusts that these arrangements could rescue the worldwide group by easing the financial strain (UNHCR, 1997).
