Read Scripture: Jeremiah, Lamentations, and Daniel
The way the book of Jeremiah came into existence is intriguing. Jeremiah respected the calling of God to compile his essays, sermons, and poems into the word of God. The book of Lamentations, on the other hand, is a compilation of poems by an author expressing complaints or grief (Camara, 2016). Daniel is equally an interesting book. The author alternates the Hebrew and Aramaic language to get the message to the people. These discoveries are enlightening as they help in appreciating the organization of the scriptures.
Previously, the readings of the three books were not done in an in-depth manner, leading to inadequate information on the various books. According to Hitipeuw (2016), knowing how Jeremiah came up with his book has challenged the thought that since he was a prophet, he was automatically inspired to write the word of God. Also, the explanation that the book of lamentation involves poems of laments and protests contradicts the spirit of a true Christian that the Bible ought to display. The book of Daniel, however, tends to be confusing. While Daniel is capable of interpreting the dreams of other people including kings, he utterly fails to do the same for his case.
Questions involving the relevance of the teachings from the book of Jeremiah, Lamentations, and Daniel in the lives of Christians today arise when one goes through each of the readings.

Responses to these questions are often found in the Bible as well as theological texts with broad explanations of the biblical teachings. Knowing that writers of the three books were in one way or another inspired by the Holy Spirit to express the word of God encourages me not to shy away from sharing the biblical teachings (Perjete & Camara, 2016). Also, the fact that there is no restriction on how one should share the word makes me yearn to share the goodness of the word more often with everyone I meet.
