The website offers varying services including training on several skills, encouraging the public to provide the young ladies with the needed materials like sanitary towels, offering hope, strength, and guidance through for the strength of youth program. On the other hand, the museum of the City of New York is an activism body that documents the historical contents of activism in the city. The two are, therefore, connected in the activism prospects (Museum of the City of New York, n.d).
YW teaches enlightenment and enables young women by reaching out to all in different aspects of nature. The website also offers spiritual strength to young ladies through advertisements and teachings of gospel and values which is done through testimonies and bible studies. All the services of the websites aim at shaping up the future of these fresh ladies for future roles of serving the people in their gifted ways (Andrew, 2015). The main competitors are the activists’ unions championing for the young women.
Through websites and other communication channels, women have been mobilized leading to empowerment that has caused rising of movements like the temperance movement which was founded in the 19th Century (Andrew, 2015). They focus at using fierce determination, in mobilizing minds, hearts, and resources in creating equitable and justified future for women, families as well as communities in New York City.The quality of leadership in YWCA is well-structured and guarantee effective achievement of primary goals. They have their administration divided into leaders exploring social identities, those examining privileges, powers and oppression, those focusing on understanding group dynamics; and leaders who activate and organizes strategies (Andrew, 2015). On the other hand, New York Women Foundation takes leadership with philanthropy whereby they echo their voices to gain great privileges for women to gain superior positions. They have a strong power of speech and authentic influencing skills that makes the perform better than competitors (Museum of the City of New York, n.d).
Regarding finances, the entire organization of YWCA usually gather various forces and resources to enhance effective confronting of the challenges that face the organization. They move with a common purpose and being unified by the strength of a shared cause and vision (Andrew, 2015).
