The book of Ephesians is an epistle to the people of Ephesus. The epistle was authored by Paul- an Apostle. This book can be found in the New Testament of the Christian Bible, to be precise, it is the tenth book of the New Testament. Ephesians stands out in that it goes into depth on what it actually means to be a Christian. The book deals with the meaning of Christianity both in faith and in Practice regardless of the situation an individual is in within the community.
Ephesians 6:10-20 furthers the intended purpose of the book, the excerpt guides Christians into a war with the evil one. Throughout the excerpt, Apostle Paul gives instructions to the people of Ephesus on how they should prepare as they head to the spiritual war. I concur with the outline presented as the writer highlights that Paul is trying to inform Christians of the daily battles against the devil. The writer of the outline also highlights that we should all prepare as the devil is searching for ways to destroy us, a notion I also agree with.
Moreover, Paul in his Epistle highlights that the struggle facing Christians is not against flesh and blood. He further states that the shield that Christians should take is that of faith, sword of the Spirit, and helmet of salvation. These instructions by Paul indicate a war far off from the worldly war. At this point, I disagree with the writer of the outline. This is because the outline largely focuses on the physical wars While Paul focused on the spiritual war.

The writer of the outline spends a bigger portion of the entire piece on physical wars as opposed to spiritual wars.
In conclusion, just as Paul highlights in the book of Ephesians, all Christians are invited to put up a battle against the evil one- the devil. This battle needs adequate preparation, with God’s armor being the best we can secure ourselves with. For us to win the battle the need for prayer cannot be overlooked, we need to pray and remain in spirit, and for sure the war will be won eventually.
