Q1. Automobiles like cars have become the heart of transportation since they got invented and individuals are much influenced by their modest styles, performance, and speed. Like any other products, automobiles have impacts on society by transportation, induce comfortability and preference. Automobile plays a significant role in passenger carrying from one point to another, and also local merchandise in small volume get supplied over long distances. Cars have a considerable preference due to their increase in number and people get to choose their favorites. The arrival of the automatic transmission has made more comfortable for people to drive the cars and travel and comfortable in busy roads. However, automobiles have negative impacts on the society like causing congestion, pollution, and accidents. The production of automobiles and easy access to funds from loans has led to an increased number of acquisitions, resulting in a traffic jam. Also, people love to speed, and this result in cars crashes.
Q2. I Disagree that the reaction of many southern whites to the civil rights may have served to help blacks. When the southern resented being ruled by the military union, they sought self-rule which discriminated the blacks like for instance they only permitted the whites to votes. The many projects created by the state’s legislatures excluded opportunities for the black people, for example, free public education required only the white children.

Also, laws passed by the limited white freedom of slaves and were similar to those of colonial periods. Therefore, I do not see how the southern intended to help the blacks ‘cause though they reacted to the civil rights.
Q3. Aside from Watergate, Richard Nixon was a good president as he made other achievements like opening a relationship with the Chinese government. In that way, United States benefited economically and strategically from his decision. Also, president Nixon did what was convenient politically like making the world safer through negotiations with the Soviet Union. Nixon ended the draft and the war in Vietnam, reduced deficit via economic principles, took measures in gender equalities, participated in environmental agencies and formed clean air acts.
Q4. The credit should go to the effort of internal developments in the Soviet Union and nations to end the cold war. For instance, revolts under Soviet leaders in east Europe launched reforms and restructuring. Though Reagan seemed to be the right president by some individuals, as a president he needed to be someone with a mind sharp to carve through problems at the time. The presidency required an able person who could assemble figures or facts and Reagan was not all that as he disliked and dodged arguments with colleagues.
