Review about the novel of the strange case of DR. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

The novel could be divided into two parts;the first, narrated from the point of view of the doctor’s lawyer and by another colleague by profession;the second, in which Henry Jekyll himself tells us his story.

The beginning is typical of a black novel, since we are announced the existence of an evil and dark being, which is the incarnation of evil, and that seems to have some kind of relationship with the good doctor. The lawyer decides to investigate if that was being the victim of some blackmail, and that is when, little by little, we get into the genre of terror, without abandoning, at any time, intrigue and suspense.

In this sense, it has been especially bothered that the synopsis of the book of the edition of the newspaper El País detrib. I know that everyone knows the story, but I think the author’s work should be respected, without revealing the secret that keeps so jealously. If a young man decides to read it for the first time, recommended by someone, and without having a previous knowledge of the story, this synopsis will have annoyed all the intrigue, suspense and final surprise.

The descriptions are excellent, and especially good are the sensations that Stevenson manages to transmit us when he describes MR. Hyde (in the Lovecraft line, which is able to describe the monster so that it is perfectly clear how it is, but without having an exact idea of its appearance, achieving, however, that horror is heating you deep).

Wait! Review About The Novel Of The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde paper is just an example!

You do not believe it? There is an example of how Mr is. Hyde: there is something sinister in all its appearance that produces dislike, something that is completely disgusting. I have never seen human figure to be so repellent, but with difficulty I could point out the cause. It must be some deformity;Yes, it produces a feeling of deformed thing, although I could not say what it consists of. He is an extraordinarily abnormal -looking man, and yet he would see me in a hurry if he had to cite some outdoor details. no sir;It is impossible for me to make anything clear; It is impossible for me to describe it. And it’s not because I have been erased from memory, because I assure you that at this moment I see it clear as if I had it in front of my eyes.

The narrative is agile and demands that you continue reading (I have finished it in two days). It is an excellent reading and I think I have even learned a lot as a writer.

Fully recommended, even if you’ve seen the movie and know what is going.
