There are twelve zodiac signs and are subdivided into four elements; fire, water air and Earth. They were invented with reference to the position of the planets, moon, and the sun during birth. The character of Libra and charming as a virtue of this sign will be examined in this essay. My social issue is environmentalism. The rate at which the environment is being destroyed is alarming, and we have an obligation to protect it more than ever. The virtue of decision making as manifested in the Leo character is very helpful when it comes to protection of the environment. Therefore, for better results, I should imitate this character and virtue.
Virtue Ethics is one of the normative ethical theories aimed at examining the moral character of a person. This philosophy was developed by the ancient Greeks, including Aristotle (Caiazza 44). Aristotle came up with a list of almost eighteen virtues including wittiness, truthfulness, magnanimity and proper ambition. Unlike other ethical theories, one of the strengths of Virtue Ethics is that it examines the moral aspect of a person. Perhaps its main strength is that it regards human emotions, relationships, and responsibilities as of vital importance. It is a theory that does not claim to have miraculous answers to our problems. Instead, it equips us with the required values to deal with the issues. However, this strength is a base to one of its weaknesses as it does not try to solve major dilemmas. Another flaw is the character traits asserted by this theory.

The traits are just imagined and could be an illusion.
Libra is a character trait associated with people born between 23rd September and 22nd October, although the exact days defer from year to year (Dooley 255). It is under the element of air. Librans are charming, just, gracious, compassionate and diplomatic. Their two primary energies are balance and communication energies as shown by the just and diplomatic traits respectively. Due to their ‘balance’ nature, they tend to have delayed reactions as they seek to have a balanced perspective. Another vice is their indecisiveness and passiveness.
I am a female Libran, and I can relate to some of the traits. Ever since I was a child, I have always found myself making friends with almost everyone. At first, I thought it was a skill common to everyone, but then I realized not everyone has that ability. When I read the traits associated with my sign is when I realized that maybe some of the virtues play a role in my life, particularly charming and gracious. I am also just, diplomatic and, unfortunately, indecisive. However, passiveness is not among my character traits. I like making well-thought decisions, and I do what I think is right. Some additional virtues that I portray are optimism and passion.
There are many Libran celebrities, and Simon Cowell is one of them. The reality television judge was born on 7th October (Dooley 429). He took the role of a judge in the Idol series, The X Factor and the famous American Got Talent. At the age of 32, he was nowhere near where he is now. He struggled to make ends meet, and his current story is an entirely different one. He is my role model because of his ability to pick himself up even when the world seemed to be cruel.
