Callahan, Wilson, Birdsall, Fishinghawk, Carson, Ford, Yob, (2012) describe the societal modification in regards to product and process change which are encouraged and welcomed in the society. Some of the features described by Callahan et al. (2012) interest me, and they might as well support me to create social change as a student. One of the features is a practice which involves knowledge application. The element can assist me in creating social change because it allows me to apply theoretical perspectives in my life. Knowledge application contributes to enhanced knowledge and social change. Another feature is human ethics which involves sympathy, empathy, or guilt which can help me to engage in activities of social change. Human ethics helps me to love and support my companions, and this plays a vital role in creating social change.
One of the previous social change I experienced I collaboration where I had to work with my schoolmates in discussions (Callahan et al., 2012). In my learning, the would start with system thinking, reflection, scholarship, collaboration, practice, advocacy, human ethics and then civic engagement. Some of the features appear lower on the web because I apply them while I am learning such as reflection but others such as practice I use them after acquiring the knowledge.
I would like to support a positive change in my institution by coming up with a good vision; my vision will be promoting social change in the institution.

Wait! Social change paper is just an example!

I will come up with leadership strategies like teaching people the importance of social change and the eight features of social change.
