Tennis is one of the sports that the wealthy in the society adore. Even though this sport is played by the middle class, to a high extent it has been associated with high social life. As evident in tennis tournaments and commercial (Cosmell), tennis players put on costumes from high profile companies. For instance, in a commercial by Tennis star Serena Williams, the star is branded in Nike sports shoes, top, biker and even headgear. This company manufactures the most genuine and expensive sports attires a factor that depicts the social life of the players of this sport.
The arena of tennis is equally court located at fancy places such which are mostly located in estates inhabited by the high class in the society. Notably, in the commercial by Serena Williams, the court is situated in an urban-county club. This is evident by the presence of classy buildings which are seen in the background of the commercial (Cosmell). Besides, there are also some palm trees which indicate that the place is around the coastal area. Some leather furniture is seen in the commercial as a factor that indicates a high percentage of the participants, as well as fans of tennis, are people of high class.
The target audience of the commercial is not only American people but also tennis lovers throughout the world. Even though Serena Williams is a woman, both male and female fans and tennis enthusiasts are the targeted by the commercial (Cosmell).
