Stress and Adjustment Issues: Difficulty in Adhering to The Norms
Disturbance in conduct is one of the adjustment issues faced by children. They may find it stressful to abide by the customs of society. This problem can affect individuals from any age group, but it is common among teenagers and children. Multiple events can lead to the development of this issue in kids. For instance, the death of a family member, sickness, and a dysfunctional family can influence the way a child behaves (Buehler & Legette, 2015). Therapists recommend that parents should provide a firm supportive system for their kids to minimize the possibility of the development of this problem.
How social factors may influence the manifestation of the adjustment issue
The difficulty in adhering to the norms of the society is mainly manifested in form of defiance. Kids may engage in fights, theft, or miss school, among other types of misconduct. Social factors such as family structure and financial status play a significant role in determining how children exhibit these behaviors (Buehler & Legette, 2015). For instance, those from divorced families may be more aggressive and violent while kids from stable homes may fear to break the rules. As for the economic status, children who struggle to follow the laws and orders and come from financially deprived backgrounds are likely to engage in theft.
The manifestation factor of the issue which may be difficult to address
Missing school is the sign that would be hard to tackle.

Wait! Stress and Adjustment Issues paper is just an example!

When a child fails to show up in school, it can be due to multiple issues apart from the adjustment problem. It can be due to sickness or family matters, just to mention a few (Buehler & Legette, 2015). As such, it is problematic to determine whether a kid was absent in class due to the adjustment disorder or as a cause of other factors.
