The second, the Pasteur quadrant, refers to the research that they intend to investigate and know but that in addition to this has the interest in the practical application contributing to the advancement of knowledge.

Edison’s quadrant includes research whose interests are only practical, that is, there is no interest in knowledge but also prevails in producing or creating from the application or practical use. The last quadrant contains the investigations that arise from the researcher’s curiosity and that in general is based on the observation of particular facts of self-interest.

According to these approaches, the proposed research is given to place in one of the four quadrants in order to categorize and rediscover its singularity.

The Bohr quadrant is characterized by the absence of interest in the practical application having as its only motivation the desire to know and give explanation to a phenomenon belonging in this way to pure basic research, understanding this as that which seeks to promote and increase thealready existing theoretical knowledge;This type of research has high scientific competence for its contribution to the progress of knowledge but with little competence in the area of knowledge application.

According to the main objective of the proposed research, it is located in the Bohr quadrant, since it expresses that the motivations of the investigation revolve around the desire to know, understand and explain the use and importance of the expert opinions in a specific area, which ariseof the uncertainty for understanding and explaining in one way or another.
