3.1 on page 17 Using Screwdriver with the affected hand
The client can hold the screwdriver firmly with the affected hand. The client can use the screwdriver to fasten screws. The client cannot hold the screwdriver firmly using the affected hand (Lang & Birkenmeier, 2013). The client requires the assistance of the unaffected limb.
Eating using the affected hand The client can manage to scoop food from the plate and put it to the mouth without the assistance of the unaffected hand. The client cannot scoop the food or may need the assistance of the unaffected hand to put food into the mouth.
3.2 on page 18 Hanging Clothes using the affected hand
The client can comfortably lift his hand and place the clothes on the hanging line using the affected hand only (Lang & Birkenmeier, 2013). The client can manage to use clothespins. The client needs the assistance for the unaffected hand to lift the clothes and place them on the hanging line. The client cannot use clothespins.
Combing hair using the affected hand
The client can hold the comb firmly and move his/her hand up and down to comb the hair. The client can comb the hair with ease. The client cannot hold the comb and may require the assistance of the unaffected hand to comb the hair. The client cannot comb the hair independently.

3.3 on page 19 Hand Writing using the affected hand
The client can hold the pen firmly using the affected hand and write. The client can write without straining or engaging the unaffected hand (Lang & Birkenmeier, 2013). The client can neither hold the pen nor write. The client can manage to hold the pen but may require the assistance of the unaffected limb to write.
Opening a Jar using the affected hand.
The client can hold the jar firmly and manage to open the lid using the affected hand. The client should not display any signs of pain or strain during the exercise. The client can barely hold the jam with the affected hand let alone opening the lid. The client may require the assistance of the unaffected limb to open the jar (Lang & Birkenmeier, 2013).
