The Cask of Amontillado
Edgar Allan Poe is one of biggest United States writers and poets. “The Cask of Amontillado” is a horror tale of the vengeance of Montresor upon Fortunato. Fortunato considers Montresor as his close friend, but he finishes up with being chained and walled into the catacombs. Moreover, the tale is in accordance to and demonstrates many of Poe’s fictional concepts about the characteristics of the brief story. That is, it is brief and can be studied while one is seated.
