The digital gap and ICTs

When we talk about information and communication technologies (ICT) and in relation to computer science we refer to a set of resources to the availability of society for different purposes according to the priority of the situation. In this sense, we highlight the storage, processing and transmission of that information efficiently. At present, its importance is key to access to the diversity of those knowledge that were previously impossible for human being, as well as the encouragement of a main type of mediation with respect to human relationships.

Throughout its history its transformation was accompanied by what we know today as the internet that virtual space so to speak full of platforms, programs that together with the technological advance of the devices that we frequently use such as laptop, tablet, cell phones, inend a whole series of devices that can be transferred from one place to another without any problem have in some sense exceed our limitations in everyday life.

These innovations of tangible and intangible products have facilitated how to know the world and interact with it, a revolutionary experience in a sense that has monopolized the different areas of the society in which we live. Without going any further example, it is its impact on the educational system, giving teachers the opportunity to create content, the application of online didactic platforms, the implementation of evaluative models, etc. But above all it allows a bidirectional interaction between teacher – student, the latter going to have an active role thus allowing interest to exploit those qualities through motivation cooperation and creativity.

Wait! The Digital Gap And Icts paper is just an example!

It is clear that ICTs are currently important but above all it must be aware in the way in which it should be applied and account for the relevance that leads to use them and for the benefit of whoever needs it, for purposes that exceed their own individualismand generate that group cooperativism in quality conditions.

We have previously highlighted the bidirectional interaction of communication which leads us to perform an analysis of the web 2.0. That second generation network that provides services in order to share content among different users, the information also on certain occasions is generated directly or indirectly by them.

We propose that any user can add information on the network in a simple way such as in their own blog, website, giving recommendations, and contacting their authors, in order to position those communicative channels without limitations.

All these information contents such as articles photos, videos, songs, etc. They are designated with labels and facilitate the search for other people, in this way cooperation groups are created with the objectives and/or goals of a good content thus helping their classification and ordering to make them more efficient.

Through their free tools it facilitates their scope without having prior knowledge. With respect to users, the consumer phenomenon is set aside and they become producers, on the other hand, social forums and networks have turned communication into a key tool for global connectivity.

The relationship between ICT and web 2.0 It is generally manifested in the search to reduce that digital gap that is admired from developed and sub developed countries. The examples mentioned in the previous sections are the way or means of generating and sharing knowledge, having an objective and specific look of a globalized world.

This is more than clear that it is a very complex challenge to be able to achieve a more equal world since the conditions of various places there are other problems that exceed the policies implemented. Therefore their awareness and benefits, above all, must be demonstrated in actions of both the community and by national states.
