Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to look at the war and peace and how they influence the distribution and usage of foreign aid in South Africa. In developing country like South Africa, ups and downs of war and peace do happen and affect the development of various economic sectors. We will look into how these sectors are affected and the relation of the impact of foreign aids. The paper examines the positions of the country’s leaders towards the proper usage of the aids to benefit the citizens. Finally, the paper provides an analysis of the foreign aids usage to see whether it is enough or whether the little that is provided is put into the right usage for future economic expansions. This is with the realization that no amount of money is enough to eradicate poverty but proper utilization of the available resources into investment projects like mining sectors as capital, profit will generate from the project (Blanchard & Library of Congress, 2011).
Introduction
According to World Economic Forum – Home report of 2016, despite being much ahead of other African Countries; South Africa is still a developing country which more often than usual benefits from the foreign aids. The following is the examination of the foreign aids in South Africa and the Impact it has made in the country’s economy.
Effects That Peace and War Have On Foreign Aid Distribution in South Africa
According to Van and International Budget Partnership 2015, Foreign aids have helped to improve the economy after an extended period of struggle for independence Due to these fights; the country is using these funds to build hospitals and availing medicines to manage contagious diseases that may affect children.

The foreign aid is helpful for fighting Malaria and HIV/AIDs (Nattrass, n.d). Through these developments in infrastructures, youth get proper education and employment opportunities to work for the country.
Analysis of Specific Actions the Leadership of South Africa Has Taken Towards the Practical Use of Foreign Aid
It has been realized vast corruption led by the former president Jacob Zuma. The leadership of the governing political party of Republic of South Africa, the African National Congress(ANC) in 2018 joined together to impeach the president. This is a high step to ensure the foreign aids are utilized appropriately. The leadership has determinations to alleviate poverty to reduce uncertainties and inequality. They are trying to elevate the state-owned companies and the critical sector of mining through the use of fund so that the country can become economically independent.
Level of Success Overextension of Foreign Aid to Reduce Poverty and The Incidence of Warfare in S.A
South Africa is still on fight against neo-colonialism where some leaders are still corrupt and have lousy leadership. This leaves a gap in the society despite the supply of foreign relief aids. About the half of the South Africans have not accessed electricity, clean water and lives in poverty as per the report of United Nations Development Program of 2016. The educations system is not geared towards remedies of the countries needs regarding workforce thus making them even more miserable due to dependency ration being high (Koch & Weingart, 2017). The health sector is also affected by the low ratio of doctor to the patients where one doctor is expected to treat 14,500 patients (Nattrass, n.d). This leads to a high death rate of economically capable people.
