The media and their treatment with violence

The media over the years, we have seen the evolution of the media, from the hieroglyphic writing to paper, television, radio, among others. There are various types of communicative media, whether visual, printed, sound and audiovisual. These are those that keep us communications of economic, social and political events at national and international scale.  They are the most effective in transmitting messages, as they exert a strong influence on society.

But are the reliable informative media? If we take Panama as an example, the media are not reliable, since many often, politics uses it in their favor to manipulate society. The press is bribed. Not only Panama is worldwide. According to New York Times, a newspaper of American origin revealed that in Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto’s government spent about 500 million propaganda.

Many journalists, exactly sixty -eight percent, revealed that they were censored for the good of their lives. Even in religion.Amarillism is also one of the great problems of the information media. They attract attention with their striking titles, but do not realize that this harms people. For example, in the newspaper "The Criticism" of Panama, this type of situation is clearly seen, such as "another murderer" or "seven shots when leaving Mass".

To attract readers, they use this type of titles that can be a lack of respect for victims or family and friends.

Wait! The Media And Their Treatment With Violence paper is just an example!

Most of these headers usually have large letters with striking colors such as red and yellow. Even informative media publish false information or without reliable sources that can check what they say. There are times that defame companies or people and when the opposite is proven, they are not responsible for their actions, even if they did, the damage was already done. Social networks do not help for these types of situations, on the contrary, they get worse, because society trusts this type of news; These are usually controversial.

This means that both nationally and internationally, there is a lack of culture and education. It takes to strengthen education to cultivate critical thinking and critical reading and analytics. In other words, it is to analyze the type of news that is being visualized and verified with other reliable sources. It should be noted that we must also educate society not to trust everything they see and avoid sharing it without knowing more in depth what is being disseminated.

In short, it will be very difficult to avoid the problems I mentioned above, since they are mass media and the community will always trust them. Opinions change, they even influence what we discuss daily. It is a corrupt machine that manipulates information, but controlling what we share daily on social networks we can change the culture of misinformation! Each change in society takes time and little by little will be achieved, with patience and love the world will follow our steps.
