Drivers of High Performance in Triage Nursing
Triage nursing plays a primary role in healthcare. Positive drivers of high-performance healthcare systems are essential in ensuring the prompt delivery of services to patients with critical health conditions such as injury. As such, quality is a paramount parameter that must be considered to provide the most appropriate care. Sometimes, the nurses find themselves in tough situations and have to assess the urgency of the different case and prioritize the treatment order of multiple patients who might be in seemingly equal danger (Ebrahimi et al., 2016). Performance in the emergency room and triage nursing, in general, can be driven by the quality of the assessment as well as availability or access. A discussion of how costs and access are essential in my current work situation bolsters the comprehension of the positive drivers of high performance in triage nursing.
Costs
The costs of triage nursing will determine whether the person that needs to be prioritized will be given timely and sufficient attention while the ones with less severe conditions can be placed in intermediate care programs as they wait for their turn. Usually, costs should be taken into account from the viewpoint of the consumers, and it is a constraining factor in my current work situation. Affordable costs necessitate the recovery of patients since there will be no restrictors at all to deter operations.

Based on this, people should be advised to save money so that they can receive immediate care without being restricted by finances. The correct order of treatment is also crucial in healthcare since it increases the chances of effective recovery exponentially. However, costs of healthcare in my current work situation is a concern which causes delays in the delivery of care to patients whose lives are in danger.
Access
Availability of emergency treatment is often a factor that determines the death toll in many accidents situations. Access is one of the essential drivers of high performance in the healthcare systems since patients require services promptly. If patients do not access an emergency facility in time, they could be exposed to a high degree of danger. As such, it is essential to consider the distance and the emergency facility. There is a problem in the rural areas because the patients who need immediate care may die because of the unavailability of affordable medical services. Primarily, Triage nursing has been accorded a considerable amount of attention and support by states governments, and the facilities are usually distinctly exposed and marked for quick access (Visser et al., 2015). In a nutshell, almost all health centers have a provision for emergency treatment as a standby measure in case the sudden need arises. Some gaps still exist in the American emergency care services, but the state and federal governments are working towards improving access.
