“Doctors without Borders”
The shocking event at Owdai hospital cannot be underestimated. It poses one of the most significant threats that we are facing as medical practitioners currently. In fact, in the incident, five deaths, which included that of a child, and medical staff, were reported (“Doctors w/o Borders (@MSF_USA) on Twitter”, 2018). Such kinds of brutality that health care is experiencing in Syria ought to be condemned with passion.

The killing is threatening even the humanitarian law, which is an international law, whose aim is to preserve human dignity. The hospital has now closed down indefinitely following the attack.
Therefore, the health practitioners should be vigilant always. The increased cases of brutality in hospitals should be a lesson. Any doctor or nurse should survey the workplace early enough. If the place is insecure, he should either request for security or avoid such areas at all. I would share this information with my co-workers because I do not want any of them to become a victim of such attacks. The government also should offer security to all hospitals, especially in risky areas in Syria.

Young-Onset dementia
The people under that title are those who showed the symptoms before they attained 65 years. The age is just an estimate and does not necessarily have any biological significance. In the UK alone, an approximate of 42,000 individuals suffer from dementia (Society, 2018). The young-onset dementia is caused by the buildup of protein in the brain. The disease can also be inherited, with symptoms showing mainly from 30 years of age. Conventional drug treatments can assist patients with the disease, even though it cannot be cured completely. Therefore, it is worth to note the symptoms of the disease so that one can take the necessary steps to either save a life or assist a friend who has the condition. The information about the disease should be spread to the co-workers so that they can help the patients, and also creating awareness about the disease. It is also related to my career because it involves creating awareness and assisting the patients early enough.
