Based on my own experience, I insight that, a community or a group in real sense is not just living closely together but rather a strong mutual feeling of togetherness and belonging to a certain group of people without fear of rejection or discrimination but with a spirit of peace, love and unity.
While before I began 7th grade, my family relocated to Ashburn, this was a new city to us and we never knew of its inhabitants, actually we seemed to be all alone in the new city since we had no family friend or relative living in the same city. Fortunately, we received an invitation from a group of families who shared the same hometown with us. The invitation rekindled my attitude from the warm hospitality we received. Gradually, our life resumed to normal and blossomed henceforth.
On the contrary, the invitation initiated love and lots of entertainment whereby parties were held bi-weekly. Eventually, the new experience brought a positive transformation perhaps I adopted a new character of responsibility. However, I realized that am older in my group hence was the one responsible for managing the younger kids and through learning from the experience of the older kids I manage to be a steward. In every year, a dance party is held, where the kids and adults are required to perform a dance or a song.

However, the annual ceremony has enhanced me to develop competent leadership skills by choreographing a dance for the little kids that was not an easy task. In conclusion, now it has been five years down the line, am not the same person I was before, perhaps am a confident leader now.
