CEO is the acronym for chief executive officer whose principal work in the business is to drive the thinking of people about the company and also plays a key role in determining the market value of the business. The qualities of a person in terms of leadership skills determine whether one can make a good CEO for business.
The best person for a CEO should have knowledge about the market. Knowledge about the current supply, demand as well as the general price level helps the CEO in determining the effective price level for the goods.
Good leadership skills are also a major determinant of the ability of an individual to make a good CEO. Innovative nature of a person improves his performance in the business environment in that it helps the individual to anticipate and come up with a design of strategies meant to combat the effect of change. Innovative leaders in business also lead to increase in the profitability of the firm in the long run.
Still under leadership skills, one needs to be a risk taker to be regarded as a potential CEO for business.
