Abstract
The rising cost of college education has raised concern on the way of paying education in modern society. College education has increased exorbitantly as an attribute of the rising cost of living, increase student population and demand for high education. However, students have managed to pay for their education through obtaining loans and grant form private and public organization. The government has contributed to subsidizing tuition fee through fund allocation to public colleges. This high allocation of the state budget to high education is because the state has identified education as a valuable investment for human capital in different sectors of economic development. Consequences of such actions have resulted in high college fee to meet the standards of learning. Despite its high cost, the availability of loans and other student financial aids have lowered the weight for affording a college degree. The national government should learn and emulate these federal states to provide a free college education.

Ways to pay for College Tuition
College education has become very expensive over the recent years and can be explained by the changing economic tides and increase intake population, which has created a higher demand for a college degree. However, despite these challenges, people have still managed to raise and pay their college fee promptly.

People have managed to pay their college tuition in different ways like getting a scholarship, grants, and financial aids and work-study aid programs
The most common and widely used means of paying college fee is through financial aids. These aids included student’s loans, scholarships and the federal grants provided to the student. The government provides federal grants and loan directly to the learning institutions as part of their tuition fee (Kim, Huang, & Sherraden, 2014). These financial aids are provided through student application where the qualified candidates are disbursed some amount that covers either their total or partial tuition fees.
Study-work aid program is another way that student can pay for their college fees. Herein, companies allow their employees to enroll in colleges as they pay either partial or the total tuition fees. Such programs include the employer reimbursement programs are common among companies such as Apple, Walmart, Starbuck among others (Opiela, 2003). These study-work aid programs provide a direct subsidized loan to student-employees depending on their position and needs.
Personal savings also contribute towards college fee. People can save towards their learning, and this involves savings from business, employment, and personal financial incomes. Bank and credit union savings can combine personal savings to boost in payment of tuition fees.
In summary, a college education has become accessible due to the provision of these financial aids, grans, scholarship and study permits. More students are capable of achieving their degree despite the high cost of learning.
