RE: SUGGESTION CONCERNING THERAPEUTICS TOUCH TREATMENT RESEARCH
I hereby wish first of all to appreciate the hard work and dedication you made towards the research you conducted concerning the impact experienced from the therapeutics touch treatment for nurses. This letter is based on the response to the work you did in February 2016, volume 22(1) dealing with the “Experience and Impact of Therapeutic Touch” (Coakley, Barron & Annese, 2016). You did great and commendable work. The work acts as an eye opener to most of the learners and nurses when it comes to management of the patients through the therapeutic touch. However, there is a little controversy when it comes to sampling technique that you used in the research study.
The fact that you didn’t specify a clear method when choosing the participants, it becomes difficult to apply the research study to a larger population (Coakley, Barron & Annese, 2016). The nurses that volunteered to participate in the study might have had a personal interest and therefore, resulting in biases during the result. The best method that could be of many effects is the systematic sampling technique. This technique has the representation of a larger population. And also the data collected using this technique tends to be accurate since it involves different samples that are used in the research.

In case of advancement of your research, it is important that you put into consideration the use of the systematic technique to compare the results obtained with the previous work you did.
