Goals for pursuing higher education
Education comes one of the pillars that drives the globe economy at an individual, national and international levels. At individual level, my education goals are beyond the basic goals such as career development, knowledge empowerment, and economic empowerment among other basic educational goals.
One of the goals of pursuing higher education has been to acquire something that someone will never take away from me. You may take all my money, wealth, friends, family and relatives, but one last thing that you will never take away from me is the Gold upstairs. The sense of having rational judgment, critical thinking, innovative ability as well as ability to articulate issues is what I yearn for.
When I was still a young kid, I used to think that education equals to a good job, more money and good life. The mentality there before is not the same anymore. My aim is to have an expanded mind and to live like a human being who God created for a purpose and not to act like machines that follow instructions blindly. My dream is to have a flexible dream that will respond to emerging issues and problems that require solutions.
I always long for a time when my education will better my innovative ability as well as my creative ability. My primary teacher once taught me that time is ever changing and it will keep on changing from one generation to another. It therefore means that different times come with different needs and demands.

My education goal is to ensure I am innovative and creative enough to respond appropriately to the ever-changing times. My dream is to develop a practical approach and not theoretical approach when dealing with practical issues. I want my efforts to be measurable regarding the attributed results.
One of my education goals is to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in improving the quality of life. God gave us all the resources and great opportunities that we can never imagine. On top of this, the world we live in has a great beauty only if the human race is committed to making it a better place. My dream is to use my education in creating wealth through contribution towards achieving the national and global wellbeing of the human society. I yearn for a society where people will be able to appreciate the available resources that we have.

I believe in the principle of giving back to society. I would be very proud to use my learnt knowledge, wisdom and experience to change the current state of the society in my capacity. One of my goals is never to give up on my footsteps but to share the fruits of education with my fellow countrymen or across the globe if possible. The society deserves better since it is the society that moulds us and makes us achieve our dreams in life. I dream of helping a child in a particular corner of the world who lacks the basic needs, who cannot afford basic education or a better health care because he deserves better.
In conclusion, my major aim of pursuing education is to make a change that will impact a fellow human being to make the world a better place. My education goal is to create a change in the society that I will be remembered for.
